Chapter 6: "Honor Rising"

(The opening chords to the theme of Thursday Night Defiant can be heard as the screen brightens into an terrific early nighttime view of the KFC Yum center before it fades a wide panning view of the fans in attendance for Defiant before it cuts to the show’s stage and then the broadcast table where we see Thomas Croft, AJ Cole, and Tyler Capulet sitting at the table)

Croft: Hello everyone and welcome to chapter six of Pro Wrestling Nova’s Defiant right here on the Omega and El Rey Networks! We are live from the Kentucky Fried Chicken Yum center in downtown Louisville Kentucky for our go home show before PWN presents Genesis, live on pay per view!!

Cole: That’s right and tonight we are also once more joined by our good friend, Tyler Capulet, who is filling in for our own Davis von Zandt who is still dealing with family matters. We here at the broadcast table hope that everything is going well for the von Zandt family.

Capulet: I agree completely with that statement, Cole. While I am loath to break character so to speak, I know that despite his on air character, Davis is a good man with a solid family and I can only hope for the best for him and his.





(Suddenly the loud and rebellious sounds of Enigma TNG’s “Nebula Jam” starts to echo throughout the arena as the figure of Natasha Booth steps out onto the entrance way and starts to make her way down to the ring)

Croft: And this is a rare treat as the commissioner of Defiant, Natasha Booth, is making an unscheduled appearance here tonight!

Capulet: It is always lovely to see the curvaceous Miss Booth as always.

Cole: *snickering* I wonder how MISSUS Tyler Capulet feels about that kind of attention?

(Miss Booth makes a point to come by the broadcast table and greet each one of the guys in return before entering the ring proper and is handed a mic by Thomas Dekker before he moves off to one side as her music fades out)

Booth:
Hello everyone and thank you for the warm welcome, but of course the Louisville crowd has always been one of my personal favorites!

(The crowd gives up a massive home crowd pop for Miss Booth who gives the fans a big smile as she waits for them to quiet down)

Booth:
Now I have a couple of major announcements that I wanted to make here tonight before we went into the real insanity of the evening with the first one being that over the past few weeks, I have been in contract negotiations with two of the hottest young free agents on the wrestling scene today and I’m proud to announce that not only have they signed with Pro Wrestling Nova, but they will also both be making their debuts for the company at Genesis!

(The fans let out another face pop for Natasha and she waits for it to die down once again before continuing)

Booth:
Now onto the second reason why I’m out here at the start of this chapter and that’s to announce another major title match at our next show which is our Genesis pay per view.

But there’s a twist to it because I’m not just announcing ONE title match, but TWO title matches with the first one being in a one on one match to be crowned the very first Pro Wrestling Nova Junior Heavyweight champion with "El Ingobernable" himself Wil Pierce will be taking on everybody’s favorite GRRLL, SUPER TIGER!!

Croft: *WOW*!!

Cole: An impressive match up, putting an experienced wrestler like Wil against one of the hottest up and comers in Super Tig will be an epic match up indeed!

Booth:
Now at chapter seven, which will happen after Genesis, we will have a number one contender’s match that will put a certain young gentleman who will be making his return to Pro Wrestling Nova as Maverick Spyke will be taking on Rhiannon Hartwell in a number one contender’s match!

(Another massive pop comes up at the mention of the matches in question)

Booth:
Now the other match for Genesis is a three way dance to crown our first Joshi champion as our top ranked Joshi in Ebony Arceri will take on both Hellfighter’s prized pupil in Miho Li AND Super Tiger’s partner in Arley Kirk in a triple threat match to crown the first champion!

Now everybody, go forth and enjoy the rest of the show!!

(“Nebula Jam” starts up again as we cut to commercial)

The glow of a pair of headlights flashes through the entrance to the parking structure as a black Ford F 150 roars inside, slowly making its way into one of the vacant parking spaces. The engine continues to thunder through the structure even as the truck idles, until it cuts off and the doors swing open. Before they can even fully exit the vehicle, the sound of a cell phone ringtone can be heard coming from the passenger’s side, followed by the sound of awkward fumbling and muffled clattering as the phone lands on the ground.

[font color=#f59aed]Voice:[/color] Son of a bitch!

The voice is easily recognizable as one half of the tag team known as Onslaught, Ebony. As she stoops down to pick up the device, her tag team partner Ian shuts the driver’s side door.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] You okay, Eb?

Ebony gets up, device in hand, shutting the door as she sighs, stuffing the purse into her pocket.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color] Yeah. Luckily, it landed face up.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] Who was it?

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color] My mother. She knows better than to call me on the night of a show. If it’s that important, she can leave a voicemail.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] Let’s hope it wasn’t important, then.

Ebony shrugs as the pair go to retrieve their bags from the back of the truck. With gear in tow, they begin to make their way toward the backstage entrance.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] You don’t think she suspects anything, do you?

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color] Why would she? I haven’t even talked to her since that last blow-up with Dad about the “contractor” he hired to handle the renovations while we were on the road.

She rolls her eyes and curls her lip into a disgusted sneer.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color] I’m still pissed at him for that.

She shakes her head.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color] No more domestic shit. We’re here on business, and tonight, that business involves Guerilla House Party.

Ian chuckles, a smirk forming on his face as they approach the door. He pulls it open, letting Ebony head inside first before following close behind, letting the door shut behind him.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color]Now, we’re talking! And this time, it’ll be just us against them, not another Black Waltz kinda thing.

Ebony nods in agreement.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color]After the kind of week we’ve had, I’m looking forward to working out a few… frustrations.

She lets out a frustrated sigh as Ian shrugs.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] Well, it wasn’t ALL bad…..

He winks suggestively at his tag team partner. Ebony shakes her head and pokes him in the arm as they continue to walk down the aisle.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color]Okay… so it wasn’t ALL bad.

This lightens the mood a little, causing Ebony to smile.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] But you’re right, this concerns the Guerilla House Party, so this isn’t about fun and games…

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color]With a name like that, you coulda fooled me. Anyway, I certainly hope they live up to the former part of the name rather than the latter, because we sure as hell aren’t coming to play.

They arrive at the door to their dressing room, and Ian reaches for the door handle.

[font color=#4682b4]Ian: [/color] Those two mooks need to be prepared for a war, because if they aren’t, they’re gonna get eaten alive.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color]Good thing I’ve worked up quite the appetite…

Ian pushes the door open and the couple slip into their dressing room. Before Ebony makes it all the way inside, she pauses in the doorway, looking over her shoulder at the camera.

[font color=#f59aed]Ebony: [/color]Oh, no you don’t. You wanna see what happens next? Wait until our music hits!

Ebony shuts the door hard enough for the resulting thud to echo through the hallway as the scene fades out.

Rhiannon Hartwell vs. Morgan Payne

Our first match of the evening put PWN Original and the newest hire of Wrestleworld in Rhiannon Hartwell against the Kingdom's Morgan Payne in what was a very impressive hard hitting back and forth match that showed both women's intent on proving themselves to the maximum level, with the occasional cuts from the action in the ring to the office of Mister Herncastle who was less than pleased to see these two women's actions in the ring as they slowly but surely became more and more physical in the ring as Rhiannon proved that despite Morgan's experience, she was bound and determined to prove that she was simply the tougher bitch in this fight.

The high points of the match included Rhiannon attempting to hit a running cannonball on Morgan on the outside as she was propped up against a barricade only for Morgan to move out of the way
right at the last moment, causing Rhiannon to crash hard with a massive look of pain on the younger woman's face as Morgan then risked a double count out loss as she started to stomp hard on Rhiannon's back.

But in the end, Rhiannon was able to get the victory after hitting the "Queen of Insanity" on Morgan for the pinfall victory.

Winner of the Match: Rhiannon Hartwell.

After the match, "Unleashed" by Killswitch Engage started to play and Celes Dumont appeared on the entrance way, slowly clapping as Rhiannon stopped on the entrance way and flipped off the "Death Dealer"
who simply gave her a bigger smile in return as the camera cut from ringside.

(The camera starts up and we are outside on a basketball court somewhere, it is a nice sunny spring day when the camera comes upon the well built form of the newest hire to Pro Wrestling Nova, Alex Slayer. He is wearing a blue and gold basketball jersey and a pair of black shorts with his hair pulled back into a ponytail, looking slightly amused with himself)

Alex:
You know, my advisor and I both find it very amusing that I got saddled with a name like “Alex Slayer” because my actual name didn’t sound “tough enough” for the fans here and I’m fine with using it for the time being because the Strong Arm Alchemist doesn’t have a thing to worry about, at all.

Especially when it comes to you, Jacob Striker.

I mean think about it. You call yourself the “War Horse” of this company but do you honestly think that an old, worn down war horse can handle a stunning young stallion like me?

(Alex flexes his powerful arms a little bit, the camera taking in the half-Japanese man’s powerful build)

Alex:
Let’s face facts, you’ve drawn yourself out with fighting losing battles in World Wrestling Headquarters and New Frontier Wrestling while your tag team partner is off playing hero zero and that little slip of a girl ignoring you...how can you properly focus on the matter at hand when you have one of the biggest matches of your career coming up at Genesis?

How can you focus at all when you’re being rejected by every single one of the people closest to you?

I mean the Omega Wrestling Alliance hired your best friend Ryo Sakazaki over you, Serenity Scorpio refuses to see you as anything romantic, and fuck...Katrina Cage just doesn’t acknowledge your existence at all.

(Alex then spreads his hands out to his sides and tries to look apologetic)

Alex:
I’m sorry but the truth must hurt a lot. And another truth to be compounded a top of all that is you’re not going to be in any other matches at Genesis...but I will be taking your place.

So come this week’s edition of Defiant, I’m going to show you the Strong Arm Alchemist’s own brand of black magic.

(Alex then turns and strikes a pose highlighting his powerful arms)



Alex:
Soon you’ll understand the truth of my family’s style of wrestling and how you simply can’t measure up.

(The screen then cuts to black as he smiles broadly at the camera)

(We come back from commercial and we are at ringside with Thomas Dekker ready and willing to keep the show going)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and it is a Joshis match!!



(The chords of the Gene Simmons classic, “Firestarter” begins to play throughout the arena as the NovaTron flashes several quick sinister poses of the “Fire” half of Bloody Fairytale before the last image “burns” into the logo of the team as the crowds at ringside sends of a hearty mix of cheers and boos)

Dekker: Introducing first, hailing from Ashville North Carolina and weighing in tonight at one hundred and twenty pounds…

(Christina Olson steps out onto the entrance way and looks at the crowds with a slight smirk on her face before she starts to make her way down to the ring with a confident stride)

Dekker: This is one half of Bloody Fairytale, the “Firestarter” Christina Olson!!!

(Christina ignores all of the fans before she quickly gets into the ring, looking very ready for the fight to begin)
Capulet: Noticeable by her lack of presence, Christina’s tag team partner in Lilith Meadows is currently on leave to recover from various injuries that she sustained over in NFW a short while ago. And we here at Pro Wrestling Nova hope Miss Meadows a quick and comfortable recovery.

Dekker: And her opponent! She hails from Los Angeles California and weighs in tonight at one hundred and sixteen pounds….



(The hauntingly beautiful and hard strands of “The Fire and the Gold” by Lucas Thanos starts to float through the arena as the lights fade down to a low red as the NovaTron gives us a showcase of the short yet epic career of the very young woman who comes sauntering out onto the stage followed by a very perky and happy young woman as well)

Dekker: Being escorted to the ring by her tag team partner Lean Soulas, this is the “Diamond Queen” herself...Lexi GGOOLLDD!!!!

(Lexi smiles as she gives a few of the fans a high five before she reaches the ring and does an incredible imitation of her boyfriend, Devon Slayton’s, signature pose by standing at the top of the ring steps and throwing her arms out the her sides suddenly ass the lights snap back to normal as three pillars of golden flame erupt from the three other turnbuckles which makes Dekker jump a little bit in surprise as the camera pans to Lexi giving a private little smile before she removes her entrance gear and slips into the ring)

Croft: And of course we have both halves of the Golden Smiles tag team who will challenge the Mechanical Animals at Genesis for the world tag team championships at ringside as Lexi takes on Christina.

*DING DING*

(Lena gives her friend and partner a couple of quick tips before quickly getting out of the ring as the two women start to circle each other after the bell rings which both women start a test of strength which Christina wins and then quickly tries to take Lexi down but Lexi is able to slip out of the move mid-motion with Christina moving forward a little bit before she turns around quickly only to be caught with a couple of snap kicks which is then followed up with a leg sweep that knocks Christina off of her feet for a moment before Lexi attempts to quickly follow it up by dropping the knee but Christina is able to quickly move out of the way where she in turn catches Lexi with a Yakuza kick before she attempts a pin)

1….!!!

(Lexi kicks out of the move and then quickly rolls to the outside where Lena goes over to quickly check on her friend but Christina suddenly explodes into frame with a sudden springboard suicide dive that takes down all three women before Christina quickly gets back up,grabs Lexi by her hair, and tosses her back into the ring with Christina quickly on her heels where Christina quickly goes for another pin attempt)

1….2….!!!

Cole: And once again Lexi Gold kicks out of a pin attempt with Christina arguing with the ref over the matter.

Capulet: Don’t waste time on the ref, Christina, focus on your opponent.

(As she is arguing with the ref, Lexi quickly moves to roll up Christina into a school boy with a bridge that almost gets her a pinfall but Christina is able to use her experience to her advantage as she quickly gets out of the school boy and then starts to brutally stomp at Lexi before the ref manages to pull her away at which point Christina simply shoves both of her fingers into the face of the ref as she gives a rather hateful glare at both the ref and Lexi)

Capulet: While I can give Christina several thousand points on style, I think that she might be taking a bit too much time focusing on…





Capulet: What the?

Cole: Now there is a theme that we haven’t heard of in a long time!!

(As the song continues, it obviously becomes rather warped and twisted...darker as the lights in the arena dim lower as the black clad form of Kamila Rose steps out onto the entrance way and slowly starts to make her way down the ramp, almost like a cat stalking it’s prey)

Croft: What is Kamila Rose doing here??

Capulet: Wait, isn’t she the ex girlfriend of Christina’s partner?!

Cole: Yeah...but if so then what is she?!

(Kamila comes within range of the ring as the lights go back to normal and she just stands there, adopting a kind of thoughtful pose as Christina is now has all of her attention focused on her pointing at her and into the back at which point Kamila simply gives Christina a friendly little wave and a sultry smile...when suddenly Lexi comes up from behind her, raises Christina up into an Electric Chair position before turning the two of them around and hitting an Electric Chair Driver with the hooking of the leg)

1….2….3!!!!

*DING DING*!!!

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of your match...LEXI GOLD!!!

(Lexi quickly rolls out of the ring followed by the ref who then raises Lexi’s arm in victory as Christina quickly turns and faces the camera with a look of utter shock on her face as she then moves to face Kamila who is already strutting back up the entrance ramp as Lena quickly comes around and hugs her partner as the two celebrate Lexi’s victory)

Croft: And Lexi Gold must feel great gaining a victory heading right into Genesis.

Capulet: Yeah but while the Golden Smiles may have some enhanced confidence heading into the pay per view, they still have one hell of an uphill battle ahead of them nonetheless.

(The camera then cuts away to commercial with our last views are on Kamila walking up the ramp with a smile on her face beneath her mask as Christina is seen in the background raging in the ring)

(We come back from commercial and we see Thomas Dekker in the ring)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is a TAG TEAM match and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing team number one!



(The sounds of a howling wind with a powerful bass ryhtmn undercurrent starts up as PWN's "First Couple of Darkness" steps out onto the entrance way as Ebony melds herself to the taller and more sinister form of Ian as Judas Priest's "Creatures" starts in earnest, with both wrestlers facing the ring, Ebony then crouches down in front of Ian, pointing straight ahead as Ian raises his arms, a wicked glare in his eyes as he stares at the ring. Ebony stands up and the pair walk down the ramp to the ring)

<The night wind blows>
<Your heart rate grows>
<Your pulse is racing faster>

<They're on your trail>
<They know you'll fail>
<You're flirting with disaster>

Dekker: Weighing in at a total combined weight of three hundred and seventy five pounds, they are the team composed of the Pro Wrestling Nova Horrorcore Openweight champion, the "Hawthorne Horror" Ian Dickenson, and Ebony Arceri-Dickenson!!

(Ebony ascends the ring steps first, with Ian close behind her. Ian scales the turnbuckles from the outside as Ebony stands on the apron. Ebony throws her head back and lets out a shrill scream as Ian bellows from his corner perch, then as Ian jumps down into the ring, Ebony slingshots herself over the top rope. They then move toward their corner and wait for the match to begin)

Dekker: They are OONNSLAUGHT!!!



(As their music fades outand the opening beats of AJR’s “Burn the house down” begins, Dekker brings up the mic to start the next introduction)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing team number two at a total…

(Suddenly the NovaTron cuts to the backstage area where the team that attacked Jacob Knight at Chapter Five are currently attacking both members of the Guerrilla House Party with a near single minded determination as the more thuggish of the two has Devin Bravo and is clubbing at him with forearms before he hurls him into the nearest while while the taller of the two attackers as Dion up and then down into a powerbomb, sending him through an equipment table which breaks under his weight)

“Thug”: Yeah, BBBOOOYYYY!!!! HOW YOU LIKE THAT SHIT, YOU LAME ASS MOTHER FUCKERS!!!

(“Tall” is about to do something when suddenly Jessie Lee Armstrong appears on the scene with a kendo stick and starts to go to town on “Tall” from behind at which point “Thug” comes over, reaches behind himself, and then swings a large white object across the back of Armstrong which causes him to drop his kendo stick as he pitches forward, his back arching in pain as “Thug” slams the object again and again at Armstrong, which brings up a very meaty sounding noise with each swing)

Croft: Who are these guys and how do they keep attacking people?!

(“Thug” stops attacking Armstrong long enough to help up “Tall” who then points at something and the two men then book it as PWN security quickly mobs the area with some going after the two attackers)

Croft: I...I honestly don’t know what’s going on here guys…

(The ref consults with Onslaught, who both actually look disgusted at what has just happened, before he motions for Dekker to come over to which point Dekker nods in agreement)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, due to outside interference and in agreement with Onslaught, our referee has declared this match to be a no contest.

(The broadcast team is speechless as we cut from ringside)

(The cameras cut from the ringside area to the backstage at which point we can hear the crowds cheer at the sight of Jacob Striker, still in his street clothes, looking somewhat nervously at his phone before he sets it down as a knock can be heard)

Jacob:
Enter!

(A moment later Aaron Tennyson, the General Manager for Defiant, steps into frame clad in his usual pink suit. Jacob stands up as Aaron looks at him with a serious expression on his face)

Aaron:
Jacob, sorry to interrupt you but both Commissioner Booth and the Council are a tad..well more than just a “tad”...curious as to the current whereabouts of your partner and if he’ll show up for the Mechanical Animals’ defense of the tag team titles at Genesis.

Jacob:
He’ll be there, you all have my word on this.

(The look on Aaron’s face shows that while he accepts the younger man’s word, he has his doubts)

Aaron:
Normally we would accept you at your word, but recently we’ve seen more of him as this...Red Mask...and he seems to have more interest elsewhere rather than focusing on his contracted efforts when he’s scheduled to be focused here.

Jacob:
I know this, but he will be at Genesis. He’s just trying something new, that’s all.

Aaron:
Alright, Miss Booth just wanted to remind you that we hired Lash on your suggestion, Jacob.

(Jacob’s eyes narrow as he catches something in Tennyson’s tone as the “Natural”s jaw clenches tightly)

Jacob:
He will be there, Mister Tennyson. He hasn’t let me or anyone else down yet.

(Aaron nods as he holds up his hands in attempt to help calm things down)

Aaron:
If you say so, but just in case Miss Booth and the Council want to know if you have someone who can step in and cover for Lash just in case?

(Jacob only nods to this at which point Aaron gives him a tight smile and nods as well)

Aaron:
Well then, I’ll leave you to it. Good luck out there tonight, Jacob.

(Aaron then leaves the frame, as Jacob’s expression turns from serious to slightly worried as the scene fades out)

Isabel: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following lucha is a three way interpromotional match and it is two pinfalls to a finish!! Introducing first!!





(The sound of a didgeridoo can be heard echoing throughout the arena before it explodes into a powerful hard rock chord as the signature logo of Wrestleworld appears on the center screen of the NovaTron as the two side screens showcase the career of the man who is about to appear to a broad cheer from the fans)

Cole: Now this is going to be quite the match as it puts one of the top junior heavyweights from one of three major companies against one another here in Pro Wrestling Nova!

Capulet: That’s right, Cole. Right now we are witnessing the fans welcoming a fan favorite who has been struggling with his own brand of chaos.

(As Like a Storm’s “Chaos” continues as the fans get even louder in their cheers as Kanaida Sharpe walks out onto the entrance way, wearing his signature overcoat as he stops and looks around at the crowds for a moment as the camera pans around him to show the faint smile of joy on his face as he takes in the respect of the fans)

Isabel: Introducing from Futo Japan by way of Toronto, Ontario, Canada...weighing in tonight at one hundred and ninety eight pounds, he represents WRESTLEWORLD!!

(The crowds get even louder at the mention of that company as Kanaida then throws his head back and arms straight out to his sides before he throws himself forward at a dead sprint)

Isabel: He is the “Punk Rock Time Bomb”, a true Loyalist to Claudia’s cause, Jaywalker’s favorite freak...the one and only “WILD THING”, KANAIDA SHARPE!!!

(Kanaida runs around the ring and gets several high fives before he effortlessly slides under the bottom ropes and into a standing position in the middle of the ring before he hits his old signature pose)

Croft: He might be struggling with things in his own life, but it is great to see Kanaida Sharpe looking like his old self again, huh guys?

Cole: I’ll drink to that, Thomas!

Capulet: I’ll gladly buy the round for us all in that case.





(“Chaos” fades out as Kanaida slips himself out of his ring coat before he starts to pace back and forth while watching the entrance way as the hard bassline of William Murderface starts to echo throughout the arena as the lights in the arena fade save for four pale blue spotlights that bathe the entrance way in their light as smoke starts to bellow up around the entrance way as Dethklok's "Face Fisted" begins to play)

RING ANNOUNCER | ISABEL CORTEZ:
Making his way to the ring from Sleepy Hollow New York, weighing in tonight at an amazing one hundred and ninety two pounds!!

<So strong my face is>
<You punch break fingers>
<Kick me you're limping>
<Stab me you're bleeding>
<I am be dangerous now>
<You throwing rock at me>
<Hit eye and it no hurt me>

(The smoke dissipates to reveal a shadowy figure doing a crucifix pose before he throws his arms down and the lights then blaze back to normal as Uiriamu Minami starts his walk down to the ring as the official video for Face Fisted plays, interjected with scenes of Uiriamu's past wrestling history)

RING ANNOUNCER | ISABEL CORTEZ:
He is "Wrestling's Hottest Property!!", UIRIAMU MINAMI!!!

(Uiriamu strides down to the ring as the crowd continues to cheer him on before he gets to the ring side area and pulls up his signature shades before he he heads over to the ring steps and then bangs on it a couple of times to get himself more psyched up before he gets into the ring and climbs up the nearest turnbuckles as the lights over the ring turn on to the pale blue to bathe him in it once more as he throws his arms out to the cheers of the crowds before he makes like he's checking his watch on his right wrist before the lights go back to normal and he hops down from the turnbuckle and moves to the center of the ring, awaiting his opponent as he removes his outer gear)

Croft: A close friend and running buddy of one half of Pro Wrestling Nova’s own world tag team champions in Jacob Striker, Uiriamu is not exactly the one wrestler to sneeze at.

Capulet: Of course not and Uri here has a history with the two of them feuding across the entirety of the Universal Wrestling Corporation and Frontier Wrestling Alliance in the recent past.



(As Uri starts to pace back and forth while Kanaida remains crouched in his corner as they await the third person in their match)

Isabel: And introducing the third and final competitor for this match!

Voice:
This was a fucking bomb dropping on Beaver Cleaverville. For a few seconds, this place was Armageddon!

There was a *FIREFIGHT*!

(Suddenly a powerful base line starts up followed by an equally strong drum line before they start a powerful single beat) as the NovaTron shows us the highlights of the third man's career to date-from his matches in NFW in a tag team with Jacob Striker to his truly epic wars with Graham Baker and Kai Stevens over in SSW)

<Can you hear Valhalla call??>
<Will you dine there tonight?>
<Take this fleet that we sailed here upon>

(As "Blacktop Mojo's "Burn the Ships" continues throughout the arena, the fans are actually doing something strange as Wil Pierce steps out onto the entrance way)

Cole: Wait...are the fans actually cheering for Pierce?

Croft: I do believe that they are.

<Burn the ships and watch them all sink down>

Isabel: He hails from Hawkins Indiana, weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty pounds. He is the self proclaimed “Albert Wesker of Luchadores” and “El Ingobernable”...representing both Strong Style Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Nova, he is the “Blackheart” Wil PIERCE!!

(Wil makes his way down to the ring, slowly giving a few of the fans at ring side a high five or a fist bump, obviously not used to the reaction that he is currently getting from the fans before he finally gets to the ring and slides under the bottom ropes to face both of the other two men in this match while shucking off his jacket)

Capulet: I personally am kind of curious as to how Wil is holding up right now. I mean it was less than two weeks ago that he was brutally attacked by his former trainer in Zell Hunter before he spent over fifty minutes in SSW’s Spirit Royale match just over a week later.

Croft: I completely agree with you on that, Tyler. But if that promo that he cut over in SSW recently is any indication, than he must be somewhat ready for this.

*DING DING*

(The match begins with Kanaida quickly charging across the ring at Uri first only for the native of Sleepy Hollow to quickly get himself out of the ring but Kanaida’s charge is met by Wil who quickly hits a drop toe hold and quickly follows it through with a single leg Boston crab which he then wrenches back on that leg only for Uri to quickly come back into the ring and he hits a very fast shoot kick hard into Wil’s chest, driving him backwards, breaking the pin as Uri quickly follows that up with a senton hard across Kanaida’s back which Uri quickly tries to follow up with a pin but Wil in turn quickly catches Uri flat in the face with a boot to the head, breaking the pin)

Cole: And Uiriamu Minami is quickly showing that he’s no slouch in the tactics department as he quickly got out of the way of a Sharpe charge attempt that leads to him almost getting the pin.

Croft: Minami showing his experience early on in this match, he was quick but not quick enough.

(Wil then starts laying into Uri, shooting off a couple of shoot kicks before Uri catches Wil’s leg before lifting him up and then down into a shin-breaker but Kanaida quickly catches Uri with a front flip DDT but before he can get into position for the pin, Uri quickly rolls out of the ring and motions that he’s smarter than everyone but as he turns around the face the ring, Kanaida hits a running cartwheel that sends him over the top rope that he turns into a corkscrew moonsault that catches Uri hard int he side of the head!!)

Capulet: While Uri was able to avoid being struck down by the Spiral DDT, Kanaid was able to catch him with the Air Stampede!

Croft: A very impressive showing by one of Wrestleworld’s finest to have never main evented!

(Kanaida is quickly back to his feet as he grabs ahold of Uri and tosses him back into the ring and as he goes in to follow him in with a springboard move, Wil quickly catches him with a spinning heel kick that knocks Kanaida down to the floor as Wil quickly spins himself around fast enough that he slips around Uri, using only his fingers to help change his direction to stay right behind the Japanese wrestler, but as Uri turns around, Wil suddenly leaps towards Uri who instinctively catches him as Wil wraps his powerful frame around Uri’s neck and upper body before throwing himself backwards into a kind of double underhook DDT that he turns over into a pin attempt)

1….2….!!!

Croft: And a kick out by Uri out something new from the “Blackheart”!

Capulet: I recently heard that he was thinking of trying out some new big moves and I think that we’ve just seen one of them.

Cole: I guess everyone needs a little change in their lives huh?

(After Uri breaks the pin, he attempts to roll Wil up into a modified school boy, but Wil isn’t having any of that as he hits a rolling wheel kick that Uri is able to roll out of the way of as he quickly hits the “Omega Trigger” on Wil and cinches in the hold tightly, even grapevining his legs around Wil’s neck for extra leverage)

Capulet: And now Uiriamu Minami has that sick submission hold locked in and quite many an opponent has fallen to that modified Kimura lock of his in the past.

Croft: And to make matters worse, the hold is locked in right there in the middle of the ring with nowhere for Wil to go!!

(The ref goes to check on Wil whose face is shown as twisted up in pain due to the amount of pressure on his arm but Wil also struggles to move, slowly at first as Uri starts to jerk the trapped arm around hard within his hold as the “Albert Wesker of Luchadores” slowly manages to get his feet under him as he wraps his free arm around Uri’s body before hoisting the two of them up)

Croft: My.*GOD*!! The pain that Pierce must be in from doing what he is doing right now must be incredible!!

Capulet: That is putting it mildly, Thomas. The Kimura lock is nothing to sneeze at to begin with but Uiriamu Minami’s infamous Omega Trigger version is a lot more painful as he actually hyperextends the arm as well.

Cole: My only question is now that he’s got them up…

(Before Cole can even finish what he was going to ask, Wil answers it by forcing himself forward and slams Uri full force into the top turnbuckle that causes him to break the hold which Wil takes a moment to roll to the outside but before Uri can get back to his feet when he staggers out of the corner and into a lift up onto his shoulder before he quickly hits a sitout running powerslam before he tries to go for a pin but Uri quickly kicks out of it before he rolls to his knees but Kanaida stays right there on top of him with several shoot kicks as Uri raises and then the two men simply explode into a series of very vicious blows-shoot kicks, elbow strikes, forearm strikes, and everything in between-before Uri manages to force Kanaida back with ever increasing blows until Uri finally manages to get in a solid blow that drives Kanaida down to one knee before he quickly gets Kanaida into a three fourths nelson and starts punching Kanaida in the head until finally blood starts to come from Kanaida’s head before Kanaida manages to get an arm around Uri’s legs and then he hauls him up into a fireman’s carry before he throws it up and around into a sitout Alabama Slam that Kanaida quickly turns into a modified prawn hold)

1….2...3!!!!

Isabel: The winner of the first fall, KANAIDA SHARPE!!!

(Kanaida breaks the hold and then swings away so that Uri can’t get in a sneak attack as the “Hustle Supernova”, looks at his long time rival with a look of utter surprise as Kanaida waves “bye-bye” to Uri whose face then turns into one of complete rage as Sean Eastwood then makes him leave the ring)

Capulet: After a very long time, one of the biggest feuds from the final days of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance ends with Kanaida Sharpe finally getting a decisive win over rival Uiriamu Minami.

Croft: Yes but now we still have one fall left and that’s between two very hungry men.

(Wil slides back into the ring as Kanaida turns to face him and the two then meet in the middle of the ring where they start trash talking each other for a few seconds before Kanaida rears back and punches Wil hard in the face before Wil responds with a punch of his own and then the two simply start exchanging rapid fire blows before Kanaida finally goes for an Irish whip but Wil reverses that but Kanaida in turn reverses that and Wil hits the ropes fast but when Kanaida goes for a move, Wil rolls over the back of the other man and goes for a spin kick when Kanaida turns around, but the Wrestleworld regular catches it, shakes a finger in a “no no’ motion at Wil before throwing the leg around and causing Wil to spin around but when Kanaida tries to go to grab the other leg of Wil’s, the Hawkins native instead catches Kanaida with a spinning backfist instead which sends Kanaida sprawling backwards before Wil follows it up with a very savage spear that he then rolls up into a pinfall attempt)

1….2…!!!

Croft: AND A KICK OUT BY KANAIDA!!!

Capulet: Both of these men are putting on an incredible fight, showcasing the level of talent between Wrestleworld, Pro Wrestling Nova, and Strong Style Wrestling!!
(Kanaida is quickly back to his feet but Wil quickly catches him with a quick kick to the midsection that doubles him over before Wil quickly locks in a double underhook before quickly spiking Kanaida with a DDT which he then quickly turns into a pin)

Croft:NO NO NO!!!



(Before the ref’s hand can come down for the third time, the ref’s hand can come down for a third time, the two men who attacked Jacob Knight at the last chapter suddenly explode from the crowds with one of them hitting a leaping curb stomp onto Wil and the ref sees this as the two men then start to attack both Wil and Kanaida equally which causes the match to be thrown out)

Cole: Who are these guys?

Capulet: I don’t know but they seem to be repaying Wil for his actions at the last chapter when he came out to help Jacob Knight.

(While the other man gets Kanaida out of the ring, the taller of the two men hauls Wil up and really starts to lay into him with heavy lefts and rights but after a couple of seconds of this, Wil has had enough of that and starts to fire back, grabbing his attacker and hitting knee strikes on him before the other man’s partner hits Wil over the top of his head with some kind of object that knocks Wil to the ground at which point they both start to kick and stomp at him when suddenly the crowds explode as Jacob Knight hits the ring at a dead run and hits a powerful double clothesline onto the two men, knocking them both out of the ring and tumbling to the floor at which point one of the two quickly scrambled back to his feet but he was stopped by his partner as Knight demands that they get back into the ring as PWN security hits the ring en mass and the two mystery attackers quickly leave through the crowds)

Cole: In a night of many strange events, this was just another one of them.

Croft: I will agree with that, first the sudden return of Kamila Rose and then that savage promo by Alex Slayer..and now two sudden and savage appearances by this unknown tag team.

(In the ring, Knight walks over to a recovering Wil who then notices the member of the Aviators and moves back a little bit as he brings a fist up to wipe some blood away from the corner of his mouth as Knight gives him a slight smirk and a nod that Wil then slowly returns as the camera fades to commercial)

Isabel: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following Lucha is scheduled for one fall and it is for a spot in the triple threat match for the Pro Wrestling Nova International Heavyweight championship and this is your Defiant MAIN EVENT!!



(Suddenly a man’s voice is heard as it echos throughout the arena)

Voice: Peace? Peace. I hate the word, as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee.

(Suddenly a guitar riff starts up and it slowly builds in force as the NovaTron shows us images of a man’s career-from his sudden debut helping Serenity Scorpio in World Wrestling Headquarters, to his brutal attacks on Vanita Thompson in New Frontier Wrestling, to his bloody victory at the Black Waltz match at PWN’s third chapter)

(As Isabel speaks, Jacob Striker steps out onto the entrance way, his half of the PWN World Tag Team titles strapped around his waist, as he leans his head back and stretches his arms out to the sides as the crowds explode with cheers as “Judas” continues to play before he throws himself forward in a power stride towards the ring)

Cole: Jake has had a rough ride of it since he debuted last September. He has had tremendous ups and downs and still does, but slowly and surely we’ve been seeing that potential that Stephanie Matsuda has always said that he has.

Croft: Perhaps, but it seems that in recent months he has taken on a slightly more..harder edge as of late across the promotions that he works for.

(Striker makes his way around the the ring before grabbing the bottom ring rope and hauling himself up and onto the ring apron as he reaches behind himself to unhook his title belt as he bows down slightly, before slowly rising up and dragging the thumb of his left hand across his neck slowly in a “throat slitting” nature before rising it up into a fist high into the air followed by the tag team title in his right)

(Jacob steps through the ring ropes and into the ring proper, handing the ref his title belt before he starts to remove his entrance gear as the music shifts slightly in tempo and style to something slightly more fast and sinister sounding)



Isabel: And his opponent, weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds...from Ba Sing Sae by way of Tokyo Japan!!

(The Enigma TNG remix of Disturbed’s “Stricken” plays throughout the arena as a man steps out onto the entrance way in black, white, and purple wrestling gear with his long light and dark brown hair pulled back into a ponytail and a huge smile on his face as he flexes slightly for the camera before he slowly starts to make his way down to the ring)

Croft: A rather confident look from the debuting Alex Slayer here tonight as he takes on someone who the front office is calling a mainstay of Pro Wrestling Nova.

Capulet: I wouldn’t sell this kid short quite yet guys, There is something about the way that this kid carries himself that seems kind of familiar to me.

(Slayer gets to the ring and slowly enters it before walking right up to the shorter Striker and the two men have an intense staredown in the center of the ring for a few seconds as Sean Eastwood attempts to get the two men to separate)

Isabel: He is the self styled “Strong Arm Alchemist”, this is Alex SLAYER!!!

(Alex takes a couple of steps back from Jacob with that confident smile as he undoes his ring gear and tosses it aside as Isabel quickly gets out of the ring before the ref calls for the bell)

*DING DING*

(The two men move to the center of the ring and Jacob starts to trash talk Alex who is simply giving him that same calm, confident smile that he has been the entire time before he says something and starts to pose a little bit before motioning at Jacob at which point the look of fury on the Sleepy Hollow native’s face slowly becomes more and more evident)

Capulet: You have got to wonder what’s being said right now to draw THAT kind of reaction from Jacob.

Cole: I don’t know but Jacob Striker is now *HOT*!!

(Jacob starts peppering Alex with thunderous lefts and rights, just hammering away at the taller man and driving him back into one of the corners as the ref tries to break up the assault-even to the point of starting a count-but before he can get any further, Alex promptly just SHOVES Jacob away from him in a way that sends Jacob tumbling head over ass backwards but Jacob rolls back up to his feet just in time to get a powerful lariat that knocks Jacob down to the mat hard and leaves Alex standing over his opponent, where he simply gives Jacob another calm, confident smile as he flexes his well defined pecs at him)

Croft/Cole: HOLY SHIT!!

Capulet: Wow, when was the last time you saw Jacob Striker get knocked around by a move in his own wheel house?

Croft: It’s not something that we’ve seen often here in Pro Wrestling Nova, I can tell you that. However a bit of egotistical pride on Alex’s part as he chooses to pose instead of going for the pin.

Capulet: I think that Alex wants to make a point to Jacob before that happens, Thomas.

(Jacob quickly gets back to his feet and then the two start to trade forearm shots back and forth until finally Jacob manages to slip under one of Alex’s and get the taller man locked into a cravate before he hits his cravate suplex on Alex, driving him hard onto the mat before Jacob floats over, mounts Alex, and then starts to unload one savage forearm and elbow shot after another right into the face of Alex before Alex is once again able to overpower the other man by flexing his body just enough to flip Jacob up and starts to return the favor exactly the same way before the ref breaks up the two but Alex hauls Jacob up and then drops the two men back down with a grounded cobra twist, slowly grinding down the tag team champion but Jacob slowly shows his own power as he drags the two of them up before hitting a thunderous Saito suplex hard onto the mat before quickly going for a pin attempt)

1...2…!!!

Croft: And finally we have the first pin attempt in this very heated and physical match here in our main event.

Capulet: This match has become quite heated and full of passionate fury from the moment that the bell was rung!

(Alex practically tosses Jacob off of him before he rolls to the outside of the ring to try and catch a quick breather but when Jacob attempts a Tope Suicidia, Alex catches him and then hits a Snake Eyes on Jacob into the barriers at ringside before he starts yelling at the fans who are now actively booing Alex who simply smiles as he shakes his head before hauling Jacob back up to his feet)

Alex (w/o mic): Worthless!!

(At that Jacob then knocks Alex’s hands away from him and really starts going to town on his opponent before Alex gets a knee in and shoots Jacob into the nearest turnbuckle and with enough force that he slams his head hard enough that Jacob’s forehead actually rebounds off of it twice)

Croft: It seems here that Alex is out to prove something.

Cole: Yeah, but prove what to who??

(Alex then hauls Jacob back into the ring and follows him in at which point Jacob starts to unsteadily get back to his feet, his face slowly being covered in crimson from having been busted open against the turnbuckle at which point Alex quickly moves in, once more takes on his confident smile before he hits a German suplex-but instead of releasing it, he keeps his grip tight and rolls with it and hits a second, third, fourth and then finally a fifth one before sending Jacob hard across the ring with a sixth one that is a released German)

Capulet: Wait...did he just pull off the freaking Multiplex?!

Croft: Indeed I think that he has, which is indeed strange as it is a signature move of one group of people in all of professional wrestling…

(Before Thomas Croft can continue, Alex is quickly back on Jacob but before he can haul him up once more, Jacob quickly attempts a roll up into a school boy but Alex shifts his weight and hauls him back up and into a butterfly suplex which slams him hard back onto the mat before Alex quickly moves to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs up on top of it while making a motion like he’s giving the last rites to Jacob who is laying prone in the ring)

Cole: And it looks like this is going to be the end from Alex’s point of view because Jacob is hardly moving in the ring.

(Alex then leaps off of the top turnbuckle in a frog splash but Jacob quickly rolls out of the way as Alex crashes hard onto the ring apron, clutching at his stomach from the impact but the bloodied tag champion doesn’t take a moment to rest or gather his thoughts as he moves to one corner and motions for Alex to stand up, even to the point of yelling at him)

Jacob (w/o mic): COME ONE YOU SONOFABTICH!!! COME ON GET UP GET UP GET UP!!!

(Alex slowly gets up and Jacob quickly goes to hit his signature Discus Big Boot kick on Alex but Alex simply steps out of the way and then catches Jacob hard in the stomach with a stiff knee strike that doubles the other man over before he drops him with a lighting fast double underhook DDT that he turns over into a pin)

1…..2…...3!!!!

*DING DING*

Isabel: The winner of the match, the “Strong Arm Alchemist”...ALEX SSSLLLAAAYYYEEERRR!!!

(“Stricken” begins to play again as the ref holds up Alex’s arm as he confidently smiles at the camera before standing up and making a rather obvious motion of wiping the sweat off of his broad muscular chest and flinging it onto Jacob’s prone and bloodied face)

Cole: Holy..

Croft: I can’t believe it, Alex Slayer has actually beaten Jacob Striker in his debut?!

Capulet: I could’ve done without that sign of obvious disrespect from Slayer however…

(Alex motions that he wants a mic and he is handed one as the crowds at ringside offer up a wave after wave of boos as the Japanese-American man moves to stand over Jacob as his music fades out)

Alex: I told you, Jacob. I told you that you weren’t going into Genesis to challenge for a second title because you simply weren’t worthy of such a thing. Havoc, Renee Jonae..all of them were right about you not being worthy of shit.

(Alex takes a moment to kneel down next to a beaten and bloodied Striker)

Alex: Maybe, just maybe, if you were actually worthy of things then your tag team partner wouldn’t have to hide his face in shame, Katrina wouldn’t be ignoring your existence, Stephanie Matsuda wouldn’t be spending more time hyping up her more talented students, and Serenity...oh Serenity...maybe SHE would actually give you the fucking time of day!!

(Alex’s smile becomes rather smug as he looks down at his opponent for a moment before simply shaking his head and standing back up)

Alex: But then again, I’m only speaking the truth here because I just destroyed your ass and still looked damned good doing it.

(Alex then tosses the mic onto Jacob’s chest before leaving the ring as his theme resumes as he makes his way back up the ramp)

(We come back from commercial to find all of the wrestlers apart of the main event of Genesis in Stephanie Matsuda, Arata Asakura, Jacob Knight, Sweet Roxy, and Sabin Richards currently standing in the ring along with both Defiant Commissioner Natasha Booth and General Manager Aaron Tennyson as well as company president Chris Slayton and senior official Kevin Harrison with Harrison holding in both of his hands a beautifully crafted world title belt)



Slayton: Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been a long hard road getting us to Genesis and I wanted to thank each one of you for being patient with us through all of the craziness as we attempted to blaze our own path through the world of professional wrestling here in Pro Wrestling Nova.

We had planned for the challenge of the immortals to take longer, be more in depth...but to be honest, right here in this very ring I have five of the hottest and most elite wrestlers on the entire independent scene of the modern era!!

(President Slayton motions at Jacob Knight who is leaning against one of the turnbuckle corners)

Slayton: We have one of if not *THE* hottest rookie in professional wrestling in the form of Jacob Knight. He’s not even a full year into his career yet and already he is a former world champion, beating my own nephew no less for the belt, and while the win was made questionable by the vice president of that company-even Devon has gone on record stating that Jacob Knight here is one of the toughest wrestlers that he’s been in the ring with in the last twenty years.

(Knight smiles with usual proud smile as Slayton then points at Sweet Roxy who is leaning with her back against the ropes before walking over towards her and looking into her eyes before nodding at her with respect)

Slayton: Sweet Roxy here has proven herself time and again why she is ten thousand leagues better than either her *MOTHER* or her *FATHER*! This young woman might be a Vendetta by blood, but let’s be honest while her mother might be going around acting like a “Queen” and all that shit...I can honestly say that when it comes to terms of levels of talent and respect, when I look at Sweet Roxy...I see an EMPRESS and an EMPRESS always outshines a mere “Queen”.

(After saying that, the fans start up a strong chant complete with a series of in synch claps in between each chant)

Fans: EMPRESS ROXY!! EMPRESS ROXY!! EMPRESS ROXY!!

(Roxy actually looks a little bit both surprised and touched at the fans’ reaction as Chris Slayton then turns and motions at a subdued but still very respectable looking Arata Asakura in one of his signature suits)

Slayton: Arata Asakura, the “Self Made Man”. When I was first pulling the roster for this company together, my brother Marcus told me that I had to bring you in and when I asked him why, it was because you were something unique in this business which is a complete package. You’ve got the skills, the drive, the look, and the passion to do whatever you want and by fucking Kami-Sama...you.*HAVE*!

(A huge cheer goes up at that point for Arata who simply nods at the statement)

Slayton: Marcus told me that if he ever came back for one last match, that he would be asking for you and for my brother..a man who spent the first three years of his career making his bones in your home country before even coming back to the States to wrestle..would even think about leaving a well earned retirement just to face YOU, says a lot about the respect that people have for you and that’s why you’re here.

(Chris then turns and looks over at Sabin Richards who looks a little bit nervous at being in the ring with such talents)

Slayton: Sabin Richards here was trained by a man that I have had quite many a war with in the past in Peter Graves and has taken that hard hitting European Catch style that Graves’ teaches all of his students and made it his *own*. A hard hitting striker with the kind of kicks that hit with the same fucking force only found in nature in emus is standing right here in the presence of his fellow titans.

(The crowds get even louder with their cheers as each wrestlers is indicated, he then turns and faces the blue haired Blasian woman and nods to her while pointing across the ring where she stands)

Slayton: And you know about what they say about saving the best for last, don’t you?

Slayton: If I could take everyone in this ring with me back in time to when I was still a young man in the promotions that existed back then such as Superior Championship Wrestling, Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Hardcore Championship Wrestling Federation, and so forth, I would take the people in this very fucking ring and it would be a stable of such epic levels that you could only call it *LEGENDARY*..

(The fans in the arena start up a huge chant of “*LEGENDARY*” that seems to flow around everyone in the ring as it said loudly and proudly throughout the entire KFC Yum Center as Chris waits for the crowds to quiet down before he continues)

Slayton: However as you can see here, we are missing two men who also had earned their spots in this match. Two men who should be here can’t and for that, I will still mark their spots in this company with places among these immortals in the ring with me here tonight.

Graham Baker had to drop out due to matters of health as he was fighting all over the world and having done that myself, he needed to stop and take a break which both I fully understand and respect but understand that he will have an automatic title shot waiting for him when he does come back.

(Chris’ jaw tightens as he tries to find the right words for the next wrestler before he nods grimly)

Slayton: Zell Hunter on the other hand, Zell is out of this match due to his own arrogance. As the self proclaimed “Final Boss” of the tournament, he felt that he was immune to being removed…

(As all the other competitors in the Challenge of the Immortals match are in the ring with President Slayton. All of a sudden the lights in the arena begin to dim and you can hear an unfamiliar drumbeat from the speakers. Then lyrics begin as the stage lights up with a visual of ancient Rome on the tron and smoke fills the stage.)

"Forged in blood, etched in bone, The sacrifice...the war we know..."

(Then through the smoke you can see the silhouette of a man standing there with a microphone. The music dies down as he stands there in mystery.)

???: You all know me, even if you can not see my face. You know my struggle, without even knowing my background. I know what you all want despite not knowing any of you personally. We all want the same exact thing my friends, we need the same thing to happen in the future. Because right now it is uncertain if we will make it to where we need to be...

(The man points to the ring as a spotlight shines down on Sweet Roxy.)

???: For when you have women like this in a position like this one, you fear for the worst friends, you must! For a woman from her pedigree will be like a snake in a den with mice...She claims she needs to eat them all to survive, but in reality the love of the kill is what she really needs. Fear my friends, fear the snake of a Vendetta...

(The spotlight turns from Roxy over to Stephanie Matsuda.)

???: Oh and how can we forget her, going from a spoiled princess of a snake to a war queen who thinks that the art of negotiation is dead! Someone who would rather use her fists instead of her brain in every single situation in her life. Do not listen to a dictator like her, who would always send her people into battle to die to do her will when they could be spared. Friends, there is no honor in her kind of queenship.

(A spotlight shines over Jacob Knight.)

???: And a white knight...with selfish motives. Can you trust someone who is supposed to be so pure with such a clouded judgement my friends? Can you trust somebody who claims to want to be the best of us all, yet still wants to be a knight? A knight will never be the best of us, good sir, and any historian can tell you this claim is true. For even Arthur was the King of Knights, not the best of Knights. False claims from a supposed nobleman are always absurd. Listen not to them my friends, a deciever mr. Knight has become.

(And as that light fades we send one over to Sabin Richards.)

???: And nothing much needs to be said here, "The Freddy Krueger of the Jr.s". A man, no no, a dog like this man who claims to wait until you're asleep to destroy you has no backbone. Has no kind of guts inside to ever be more than what he claims. A coward who will never face a battle head on when it needs to be done. I shall save us my friends, save us from this nightmare.

(The final competitor shown in the light is Arata Asakura. He looks and takes his sunglasses off at the stage. While our mystery man is still concealed by the smoke and lighting.)

???: And finally, so as not to bore you with my new friends. We have a man who is self made, who should be a role model to you all correct? Make your own way! Climb from unhealthy situations into the light! But sadly it was not all done by himself....Arata Asakura had to use men to be his stepping stones in this business to get where he is. And has so many enemies instead of friends, I am not sure that some of them will not show up to stop him in his dreams! Arata knows who I speak of, it has already happened once recently. Just keep your skeletons in the closet come the Challenge of the Immortals match.

(The spotlight turns off as the mystery man begins to step out of the smoke on stage slowly. Still a mystery as you can barely make him out he speaks again.)

???: And I promise you my friends, I promise that I will do everything in my power...which is vast...to keep these evils away from what we cherish most. From snakes, self-made fools, to demented cowards. To fallen knights and corrupted queens, I promise one thing and one thing only. When the smoke clears and the battle is won there will be one man who you can count on to do what's right for us all. I just ask two things my friends, believe the words that I say, for they will bring us all very much peace when you sleep my dreamers...

(The man fully steps out into the spotlight without the smoke and you can clearly see it is Hale Caesar Devione.)

Hale Caesar: For when you awaken we can Hale...Mighty Caesar.

(Hale holds his arms out to his new crowd and welcomes the praise as the camera then cuts back to the ring with the various wrestlers looking at each other and Chris Slayton simply nodding in approval as Defiant goes off the air)
