Chapter 11: Hand of Doom

(We cut to the parking lot outside the Rogers Arena, where a red Ford Edge rolls to a stop beneath a lamp post. The engine idles for a few seconds before cutting off, as Ian Dickenson and his wife Ebony emerge from the cab. Ebony is quick to shut the door, but Ian lingers for a moment, a puzzled look on his face.)

Ebony: You okay, babe?

Ian: (distracted) Yeah, I’m fine.

(Ebony tilts her head a little, the corner of her mouth turning upward ever so slightly.)

Ebony: Yeah… sure. Something’s got you spooked; what is it?

(Ian shakes his head as he closes his door.)

Ian: Not spooked, hon. It’s just a missed call from a number I don’t recognize…

(The couple make their way to the back of the SUV, opening the tailgate as Ian retrieves his wife’s bag, then his own. As Ebony takes her bag by the handle, she gives him a curious look.)

Ebony: No voicemail?

(Ian pulls his phone back out and checks it.)

Ian: Nope.

(He puts it away once more. Ebony shrugs her shoulders and backs up, allowing Ian to close the tailgate.)

Ebony: Well, if they couldn’t be assed to leave a message, then it wasn’t really that important.

(She scoffs.)

Ebony: No matter. We’ve got enough to deal with tonight. I’ve got Lexi Gold to deal with, and you…

(Ian rolls his eyes.)

Ian: I get to deal with some chickenshit that has done fuck-all to even acknowledge that he’s even got a match tonight. I swear, Hans Olsen may be some sort of “technical wrestling” specialist, but a flea has a bigger set of balls than he does!

(Ebony laughs at Ian’s remark about Olsen’s manhood, or perceived lack thereof. She quickly claps a hand over her mouth as if to stifle it, or at the very least, dampen the sound, so that the few people within her line of sight don’t take notice of the suddenly broken silence.)

Ebony: Well, I suppose there’s only one thing you can do in times like this. What was that one comment Jason made about “chickenshit?” Turn it into…

Ian: ...chicken salad. Oh, believe me. I plan on pounding this fucknugget into something you could spread on toast…

(Ebony’s face contorts in disgust at the mental image provided by her husband.)

Ebony: Ugh… I think my dinner might be about to make a reappearance. That, and you may have turned me off of ever eating chicken again. Thankfully, I should have better luck against Lexi Gold. I just hope this fight leads up to my expectations.

(She chuckles softly.)

Ebony: Who am I kidding? She’s about to marry Devon Slayton; I would think anyone marrying into that family would have nothing but respect for this business. She’s got goals, and the skills to back them up, I’m sure, but at the same time…

(She stops, opens up her bag and pulls out her championship belt, draping it over her shoulder. She lets out a quick, satisfied sigh before closing her bag and continuing.)

Ebony: There, that’s better. Anyway, I’d really like to bring more of a spotlight to this little beauty right here, and tonight is my chance to do just that. Hard to believe it’s my first singles match since I won this title.

(Ian reaches over and boops her nose.)

Ian: You’ve got this, hon.

(Ebony smirks, then returns the gesture with a boop of her own to Ian.)

Ebony: As I’m equally confident that you’ll come out victorious on your end as well….

(Ian is about to say something, but is cut off by his cell phone going off.)

Ian: Oh, for fuck’s sake…

(He stabs the screen and holds it up to his ear.)

Ian: Listen, I don’t know who the hell you are, but this had better be damned important….

(Ian’s eyes go wide as he listens to the caller. Scene fades to black)



(The scene starts up as we do a fly over of the Rogers Arena located in lovely Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada before the scene cuts to the inside of the arena and we are shown the stage for Pro Wrestling Nova as the crowds in attendance are showing their love for the superstars of Nova as we are shown that none other than Benjamin Gates, Justin Escobar, and Chad "2 Badd" Swayze sitting behind the commentary desk yet again.)





Gates: Hello everyone and welcome to chapter eleven of Defiant for Pro Wrestling Nova. I’m Benjamin Gates and with me as ever is my colleague, my friend, my broadcast partner and cohort...Justin Escobar!

Escobar: Hello everyone.

Chad: And of course they save the best for last as always as I am the one and the only CHAD “TOO BAD” SWAYZE!!!

Gates: Yes, but if you’re all wondering why Thomas Croft and company are not back for this chapter well, the reason for that is simple. President Slayton has given them a brief vacation as the Defiant commentary team will switch off every ten shows to keep things fresh.

Chad: Or as fresh as they can be without me here on the mic.

Gates:....Quite.


Escobar: At any rate we have one hell of a show for you all here tonight as in our main event the Kawaii Trash Pandas reunite against freaking Jason Tyrell’s new team as he has brought back of all things...the Dominion.

Chad: Wait….wait...what?! The mouthpiece of the Extreme Horsemen has now brought together his own version of Devon Slayton’s old stable? The fuck is that man thinking?!

Gates: Well apparently not much as a lot of us are in the aftermath of a killer show that one of Nova’s primary business partner’s in the Omega Wrestling Alliance recently did in their three night epic that was Civil War. It was a stellar masterpiece of violence from top to bottom and our collective hats go off to the entire roster of the OWA for putting on such an incredible show.

Escobar: Yeah...too bad two members of our roster who also works for the OWA could not find….

Chad: Hey Hey now, you heard what President Slayton said backstage about mentioning that item on air right now, Justin.

(Escobar looks on in mild shock at Chad Swayze of all people being the voice of reason but he simply shrugs and lets it go)

Gates: No only that but also Pro Wrestling Nova and Omega Wrestling Alliance superstar, the “Invincible Dragon” Ryo Sakazaki, was injured during the course of the great war portion of the Civil War event and while he was originally scheduled to wrestle here tonight he has been replaced with a different wrestler.

Escobar: Yeah, but enough with all of the talking my friends...to BATTLE!!!

Match #1 :
Jonetta Stone vs. Devin "Alpha" Bravo (w/Dion Arcana)

Jonetta’s first singles match for Pro Wrestling Nova did not disappoint as she went up against the power of the Guerilla House Party in Devin Bravo and several times throughout the match both wrestlers showcased what exactly that they could do when properly motivated.

With his partner Dion cheering him on from ringside, Devin was able to hold his own against the more unorthodox styling of Jonetta Stone, but the “Ivory Doll” showcased her experience which allowed her to overcome several near-pinfall attempts by Devin time and time again.

After sixteen minutes, the end of the match came when Devin went for the “Hangover” but Jonetta was able to transition it into the “Stack Overflow”, easily using hers and Devin’s own momentum to transition the Burning Hammer into a Cartwheel Death Valley Driver into the pin.

Winner of the Match: Jonetta Stone at 16:25

After the match however as Dion was getting ready to get some payback for his partner, an unknown woman hopped the guardrail and quickly caught Dion with a enzu-lariat that nearly took his head off with the unknown woman coming to sliding stop, slightly kneeling in front of Jonetta to which the “PoacherXPoacher” gave the unknown girl a raised eyebrow before leaving the ring as quickly as she entered it, leaving a slightly confused Jonetta alone in the ring.

(The cameras then cut back stage where the wrestlers enter the arena at and we see the towering form of Pro Wrestling Nova’s chief of security in the form of David Gibson standing there in his usual suit and a very pissed off look on his face as President Chris Slayton walks up)

Chris: Any sign of any of them, David?

David: No sir. None at all.

(The president of PWN looks at the taller man who then hands him a clipboard which Chris looks over)

David: I actually expected something more...professional from Baker, for all of his fucking crowing.

Chris: Doesn’t matter at the moment. Just keep an eye out, if any of them show up I expect their asses in my office. All but Baker though, he gets just a *little* bit of lee way in this matter.

David: Understood sir. One interesting note though.

Chris: Really, what’s that?

David: A couple of workers thought that they saw Vergil Blanchard about.

(This actually brings Slayton to a halt as he was starting to turn and walk away)

Chris: What do you mean by “they thought”?

David: It’s Blanchard, you expect logic?

(Slayton thinks about it and then slowly nods in agreement)

Chris: Keep me updated...on it all.

(Gibson nods as Slayton walks off as the camera cuts back to the ring)

Match #2:
Lexi Gold vs. Ebony Arceri

Our next match was a singles match as Lexi Gold went up against the current reigning and defending (but not tonight), Pro Wrestling Nova Global Joshi champion in Ebony Arceri and it was announced by Justin Escobar that Lexi’s other half, Devon Slayton, was actually banned from ringside for “unknown reasons” for this match.

The match was equal parts fast action and slow power as Lexi Gold showcased what she’s been learning in other promotions during her time away from Nova but Ebony was able to cut her off from getting the victory at several key points throughout the first ten minutes of this match that showcased moments such as Lexi hitting a butterfly suplex that she then rolled with and transitioned into a double underhook piledriver for a near pinfall and Ebony hitting a spinning backfist with her right hand before hitting a roundhouse kick with her left foot to try and capture a pinfall attempt of her own at the six minute mark.

However the end of the match came surprisingly when Ebony locked in her “Wing Ripper” submission onto Lexi and it looked like she was about to score another submission victory when suddenly Lexi started to slam her right forearm into the side of Ebony’s head and scored a couple of good hits that caused her to break the hold just enough that Lexi was able to quickly hit her lover’s infamous “Redrum” finish onto Ebony, Lexi’s right elbow catching Ebony flush with the left side of her head before Lexi quickly rolled up a stunned Ebony for the pin before booking it out of the ring.

Winner of the Match: Lexi Gold at 13:10

As Lexi’s music played, Ebony rolled over and looked on with a mixture of frustration and anger on her face as she indicated that Lexi had used her tights to help her secure the pin as the screen faded to commercial.

???: So THIS is Pro Wrestling NOVA…

(The camera view shows a parking lot during the night, near the arena of the current show. Stepping out of a rented car is the Shining Star, MYOJIN, from Wrestleworld and Project: Honor. He looks around and closes the door behind him, taking his shades off with a little grin as he walks towards the cameraman.)

MYOJIN: So, some of you may know who I am… Some of you may like me, some of you may hate me. I'm Wrestleworld's inaugural and current Territorial Champion, I'm XHF's current Junior Heavyweight Champion, I'm MYOJIN- and if I like what I see here? I just might end up fighting for a championship here.

(A grin grows on the blonde's face as he walks to the arena's front doors, hands in the pockets of his leather jacket. The Shining Star walks with a laidback charisma, confident and eager with a smile on his beautifully androgynous appearance.)

MYOJIN: I was invited here not too long ago and it honestly caught my interest. I've heard good things about Pro Wrestling NOVA, well, besides the fact that Jacob Striker is somehow a one-half of the tag champions here. Now thinking about it, I made him tap out a few months ago. Though I'm not here to start a fight.

(His grin grows wider as he heads inside.)

MYOJIN: Tonight? I'm just here as a… let's say a fan. I'm here to watch quality wrestling- and maybe something interesting will come out of it. Thanks for the invite, Pro Wrestling NOVA. I'm sure we'll both have a great time.

(In a separate part of the arena, Myojin’s little “promo” is being shown on a TV screen as the camera then pans right to show us none other than Ryo Sakazaki sitting with his injured leg propped up and a rather annoyed look on his face as David Bennett stands near-by with a concerned look on his face)

David: Well fuck, that’s the guy that Jake’s got problems with over in Wrestleworld?

Ryo: Yeah...Jake’s going to be spitting bullets when he finds out.

David: Think that I should go and find him?

(Ryo doesn’t say anything but nods at which point David quickly heads out of the room as Ryo leans over just enough to pick a can of soda up from the table next to him and when the camera realigns with him...he’s no longer alone on the couch and it is something that Ryo doesn’t notice at first until he blinks a couple of times and turns to look at the other person on the couch)



Ryo: Um...hello?

Man: Hello there, my name is Vergil and I was wondering if you could perhaps...answer a couple of questions for me?

Ryo: ….what?

(Vergil gives Ryo a rather sinister and creepy looking smile as he stands up and walks around the couch)

Vergil: That’s a good man. I promise not to take up too much of your time, I mean I know how valuable time is and to be quite honest...I’ve got bigger things to find.

(Vergil claps his hands hard onto Ryo’s shoulders as he walks behind him)

Vergil: So, I heard tale that you’ve been a naughty boy and got sent to the shadow realm with a bunch of your...friends...recently.

Ryo: You could say that, Abholos did bring us over during the great war.

(Vergil chuckles lightly at that)

Vergil: You boys haven’t seen an actual great war. I mean I *have*...as has the Burned Man and the Chosen One, but that’s not what I’m here for.

Ryo: And what, pray tell, are you here for?

(Vergil finishes his circling of the couch to stand slightly in front of Ryo)
Vergil: Why, I want to know more of course.

Ryo: You want to know more, then sign up for the OWA Network and leave me alone, buddy.

(Vergil’s “Hannibal Lecter” smile stays on his face as he simply then slams a baseball bat hard over where Mongoose McQueen had stabbed him in the leg with a screwdriver during the great war only a few days before hand, causing the Japanese wrestler to cry out in agony)

Vergil: Come now, what was that?

Ryo: Fuck you *BUDDY*!!!

Vergil: Tsk, Tsk. Perhaps Asakura will be more forthcoming with details when I speak to him...and his family. But for now, let us chat some more because I want to know exactly and I do mean *exactly*...about this Abholos guy and where I can find Mister Softly.

Ryo: Then you’re going to have to swing a fucking lot harder than that, *bitch*!

(Ryo then spits into Vergil’s face at which point the black coated man simply does two full power swings of the bat down hard into Ryo’s injured leg, making the other man scream in utter pain as each impact of the bat is right square onto the exact spot of the injury to the inch at which point Vergil stops his assault and he then points the bat right into Ryo’s face as the Japanese man clutches at his injured leg)

Vergil: If it’s anything I detest, it’s rude people. But enough of that...you have information for me, my old sod, and I intend to have *it*.

(The camera then cuts to commercial)

Match #3:
Hellfighter vs. Nas

In what was being billed as a test of the true titans by some, this match was an impact filled barn burner as Nas, confident after several victories elsewhere over the past few weeks, attempted to hang his horns in victory over an established veteran such as his towering inferno of an opponent.

However Nas’ overconfidence was his undoing as he went to the well for the “Ether” but he wasn’t able to get his three hundred pound opponent up at the right angle which Hellfighter used to his advantage as he landed back on his feet, grabbed and then launched Nas only to hit the "Kansas City Slamma-Jamma" on Nas for the pin.

Match #4:
David Belmont vs. Kamila Rose

Our next match put the Heavy Metal Warrior of the Shinigami Foundation in David Belmont against Kamila Rose. Kamila had the slight advantage over Belmont in terms of experience but Belmont made up for that with sheer heavy metal mayhem, throwing Kamila off of her game at several points throughout the match

However at one point, the ref took an accidental running shotgun dropkick at the wrong moment that launched himself to the outside of the ring at the same time that it hit Kamila, driving her to the mat as well.

However before Belmont could go after her, suddenly David Slayton-who hadn’t been seen on PWN television in months-made his return by sliding under the bottom rope and then spinning Belmont around into the “Apocalypse Now” before turning to look at a very shocked and surprised Kamila while fixing her with a very poignant look as he motioned for her to take over from there.

Kamila, seeing her chance as David left the ring to obtain the ref, quickly hit the “Bunny Hop” onto Belmont for the pinfall victory.

Winner of the Match: Kamila Rose at 10:00

After the match, Kamila looked over at David Slayton who was walking backwards up the entrance ramp with his eyes locked on her.

Match #5:
Ian Dickenson (w/Ebony Arceri) vs. Hans Olsen

Already in a mood but made worse by the actions of Lexi Gold to his wife and tag team partner earlier in the night, Ian Dickenson went full bore on Hans Olsen, taking on the former OWA superstar in a very physical match that showed Hans’ willingness to go full on toe to toe against the undisputed “King of Horrorcore” with the match almost taking on an MMA flavoring to it from the sheer physical aspect of it.

However Ian was able to score the pin in the final moments of the match with the “Hellion”.

The camera’s then cut backstage to the “Queen B” Bianca Davis walking through the backstage area with her manager, Joshua Samson ESQ, as well as her manservant in Simon when suddenly a young woman in rather simple and plain wrestling gear comes out of nowhere and tries to hit a spear on Bianca-only for Bianca to simply side step her and the young woman takes out Simon instead.




The young woman then quickly staggers to her feet and tries to go after Bianca, but the “Queen B” isn’t having any of it and simply takes the fight to her would-be attacker, showing a much more aggressive side that the fans in either PWN or 1WM have seen yet to date as she rained down several brutal kicks to the sides of the other woman before hauling her up and then hitting a belly to back suplex through a table with another table stacked on top of that, leaving the would-be attacker in a heap.

Bianca then stood up and looked over at her mouthpiece who has a look of complete shock on his face before Bianca rolls her eyes and stalks off towards the ring, it is at this point that Samson’s shocked look turns to one pleased surprise.

Match #6:
Megane Diavola vs. Bianca Davis

If the fans thought that all of Bianca’s fury was spent on her would be attacker-they were quickly proven wrong in her match against the “Lustful Judas” herself as Bianca actually took the fight to Megane, occasionally employing some of her regular moves, but intermixed with a much more enraged fury that she’d shown earlier.

In this six minute long fight, Bianca got the win via the “Beauty Sleep” to win a match that Chad Swayze chalked up to Bianca simply having enough of people taking her lightly.

Winner of the match: Bianca Davis at 06:00

After the match however as Joshua Samson was in the ring celebrating with his client, Bianca’s music suddenly screeched like a needle being dragged across a record as the lights in the arena suddenly cut out all at once and the in the inky blackness is withdrawn, the ringside area is suddenly surrounded by several men and women clad in black formal suits but they are wearing faceless white masks that cover their entire heads and they simply stand there around the ring and *stare* at the two people in the ring for a few more seconds before the lights go out once more as the scratching on record sound returns Bianca’s music back right where it left off as the lights return with the faceless crowd gone as we cut to commercial.

Match #7:
Bloody Fairytale (Christina Olson & Lilith Meadows) vs. Deliverance (Jacob Knight & Graham Baker)

The ref and ring announcer are standing in the ring with confused looks on their faces as we then cut to the commentary table to show that our three commentators are also confused.

Gates: Um...ladies and gentlemen, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But it seems that neither half of either team has decided to….



(Suddenly a long echoing guitar chord starts to reverberate throughout the Rogers arena as the camera shows us a wave of fans surging to their feet)

Escobar: What the heck??

(Suddenly the crowds in Vancouver let out a massive pop of respect as none other than Marcus Alexander Slayton himself enters the arena to the familiar tunes of Deep Purple’s “Perfect Strangers” as the patriarch of the Slayton Dynasty stands at the top of the PWN stage and does his signature crucifix pose for a few moments, simply soaking in the heady mixture of cheers and boos from the fans)

Chad: Holee shit, guys. What is *he* doing here?!

Gates: I honestly don’t know, Chad, but from the way that he is walking he definitely has something on his mind.

(Marcus then starts to walk down to the ring, easily slipping into the ring as Thomas Dekker hands the former Summit Wrestling Alliance chairman a microphone before giving the man the ring to himself as the music fades out)

Marcus: For those of you who don’t know me, I’ll keep this short and quick. My name is Marcus Alexander Slayton, I’m the father of Devon Slayton and Amy Slayton, a former multitime champion, and if you have a fucking problem understanding this fact just because I don’t live on fucking social media then you can just right fuck off.

Marcus: I’m not out here tonight to discuss my past in this sport nor am I out here to brag about what I’ve done, no. What I am out here to do is something actually much greater since four wrestlers decided to no show an event and deprave *you* the fans of what you want to see.

(The crowds give up another massive mixed reaction as Marcus slowly starts to walk around the ring for a moment, letting the mixture soak in and quiet down before he spoke again)

Marcus: I am out here tonight because the Weirdmeggedon series is a multi-stop tour on our way to the next Pro Wrestling Nova pay per view at the height of the new year and while that is still being hammered out, it got the wheels in my head to start turning about something that I’ve had in the back of my mind for quite a while now.

Marcus: Now aside from being recognized as a former world champion and a violent, sadistic bastard in my youth, one of the main things that I was recognized for was my time as a tag team wrestler and I brought home the gold several times throughout my career and later on when I retired from being active in the ring and moved to backstage roles, I still enjoyed tag team wrestling and that in turn made me work to come up with this little idea that I like to call the Hades Invitational Cup.

Marcus: Now what this is will be a three night pay per view event that I hope that several of Nova’s business partners such as the Omega Wrestling Alliance, One Wrestling Movement, and Strong Style Wrestling will take apart of but I’m also hoping for other promotions such as Wrestleworld, Kingdom Pro Wrestling, New Frontier Wrestling, Oath Pro Wrestling, and a couple of others will join as well such as Project Honor and SlaughterHouse Wrestling because I want this to be a three night event to showcase just how epic that trios wrestling can be!!

(The crowds show their agreement to Marcus’ idea with a loud cheer)

Marcus: Now the general idea is that each promotion will field a single three man team and I’m also opening the field to factions that also want to be in the mix as well. But I know two things for certain.

Marcus: Number one. Drake Jaeger and Tiberius Jones from Wrestleworld, consider this a personal invite to the two of you to find a partner and join in the festivities, boys! Marcus: Hell if you two and Jaywalker are fine with it, I'd love to have this hosted from your islands over in Wrestleworld.

Marcus: Call me crazy, but I'm a sucker for a killer tag team like the two of them.

Marcus: Now we move onto my second item...Joshua Samson Esquire.

(The crowds boo in response but Marcus holds up both of his hands to try and quiet down the booing)

Marcus: I know the man isn't the greatest of humans but you do have to respect his eye for talent and while the judgement is still out on Bianca Davis in my opinion, I mean the Enforcer and Justice Cross are two very talented wrestlers as is Brien Storm.

Marcus: The point being, and I'm paraphrasing here, is that game recognizes game and because of that, I'm offering Mister Samson's trio of talent a personal invite as well to the Hades Cup when it happens.

(The crow lets up a series of cheers at that as Marcus stops and stands in the middle of the ring and looks around for a moment before he tries to speak again)

Marcus: Now if you come and partake of the Hades Cup, you come to partake in some hard and fast hitting trios action, not to stand there and look pretty. So if you sign up for the show and you decide that you think that you can win by not saying a damned thing, then I will personally remove your name from that roster and replace it with a team that will because this event won’t be for models, but *fighters*!

Marcus: Now let’s get back to the actual wrestling, shall we?!

(“Perfect Strangers” starts up again as Marcus leaves the ring, high fiving some of the fans as they explode with cheers over the announcement of a major wrestling event as we cut to commercial)

Match #8:
Lash Donohue vs. Sweet Roxy


Just before the start of the match, all three members of the Shinigami Foundation-Alex Slayer, David Belmont, and Thomas Bane-stepped out to watch the match between the two and while it was a short yet brutal affair-it was stunning nonetheless.

Roxy has had many opponents over her brief time in the ring but none of them had the staying power of Lash who simply would not stay down no matter what she did her opponent would get back up and challenge her to do more-highlighting Lash’s infamous ability to not only handle pain but also demand more.

However Roxy finally won the match following a couple of large helpings of "Bitch Lasagna" for Lash before he finally tapped out to the "Jester Trap".

Winner of the match: Sweet Roxy at 8:40

After the match it looked like Roxy was going to do something else but the Foundation started to make their way down to the ring at which point Roxy bailed on them with Slayer watching the “Slaytime Princess” as she mocked them on her way out.

Main Event:
The Kawaii Trash Pandas (The “Suicide Blonde” Arley Kirk and the “Demon Hunter” Super Tiger) vs. The Dominion (?? and ??) with Jason Tyrell

The Pandas came out first, with the One Wrestling Movement World championship firmly around the waist of Arley Kirk while Tigs simply was enjoying her time with the fans, but once the girls were in the ring-the mood changed heavily.



(The crowds look on in confusion as Run the Jewels’ “No Save Point” begins to play but then it quickly shifts to a wall of boos as none other than Jason Tyrell steps out onto the entrance stage as the Nova-trons highlight the now familiar white and black insignia connected to him as of late)

Tyrell: Hello Pro Wrestling Nova...and most especially hello to the two of you, Kawaii Trash Pandas!! You both thought it was going to be very funny to point and laugh at poor Tyrell, just like those foolish jokes in Japan once did before I showed them exactly the might of what I can do!?

(The camera shifts to a view of the Pandas in the ring, with Tigs motioning that she’s ready for a fight and Arley acting like she’s bored before the camera shifts back to Tyrell on the stage)

Tyrell: Well then, allow me to introduce you girls to your opponents. First, here is a man that I don’t think either one of you have actually met before but he hails from the Demon City that is Shinjuku Japan...this is the "War Machine" Raijn Takayama!!



(As KISS’ “War Machine” echoes throughout the arena, a lumbering and thuggish looking Japanese man strides his way up onto the entrance way, heavy chains draped around him as he moves to stand at Tyrell’s left at which point Raijin’s music fades away as Tyrell points at Tigs)

Tyrell: Oh...and his tag team partner is someone that you’ve might have ran into over in Oath, Super Tiger. Someone that you might not even have noticed…

(Suddenly from out of nowhere, a large figure hops over the guardrail and is in the ring where he hits an explosive back-to-belly suplex that sends Super Tiger flying abruptly which is then followed up by the same person attacking Kirk)

Gates: GOOD GRIEF!!!

Escobar: Is that...ALEX PIERCE?!

Chad: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

(As Chad Swayze starts to laugh like crazy Takayama hits the ring at a dead run as the ref calls for the bell)

This match was an explosive fight between two teams on the completely different ends of the spectrum with the Pandas attempting to use their speed, agility, and more experience as a team against the Dominion’s power, technical knowledge, and sheer fury with several potent key spots being hit all throughout this match.

One moment is when the Pandas started to unleash a series of stiff kicks onto Raijin, hitting the taller man with a quick and save flurry that seemed to stagger the bigger man until finally they were able to knock him down but Tigs was unable to secure the pin as he practically threw her off of him with a shove.

Another moment came when Alex hit a sudden dropkick to Tigs' knees that caused her momentum to fall into the waiting arms of a Raijin DDT, thus giving the "Undercut DDT" its first victim as Alex went for the pin only to have Arley hit him from behind with a very savage running knee strike.

Thus it went on for almost twenty five minutes of pure, raw tag team action until finally the end came when Tigs was tossed into a far turnbuckle corner that was followed up by a corner mafia kick by Alex at which point Tigs stumbled out into Raijin's grasp who then hit a spinning Tiger Driver '85 at which point he rolled out of the way of a rather wicked flying elbow drop by Alex while Raijin was climbing the top rope to hit a diving knee drop of his own onto Tigs, practically burying her under one brutal move after another before she was hauled up one more time and then hit with an aided snap swinging neckbreaker for the pin.

As "Overlorld" by the Black Label Society begins to play throughout the arena Tyrell joins his team in the ring as Raijin toes Tig's unconscious body out of their ring before Tyrell motions at Arley who has gone over to check on her partner but Alex simply shakes his head "No" at Tyrell at which point Tyrell simply shrugs as his team goes back to celebrating as Defiant goes off the air.
