Chapter 13: Schadenfreude

(The feed starts up as we see a stretched hummer pull up to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Center in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada as a couple of men in black suits with black sunglasses come around the side of the vehicle and open the door at which point the "Emissary of Evil" himself, Jason Tyrell, steps out of the hummer followed close at hand by not only Ryo Sakazaki but also the "Eliminator" Alex Pierce as the black suited figures close the hummer's door behind them as the trio start to make their way towards an entrance)

Tyrell: Everything ready for tonight?

Alex: Of course.

Tyrell: Good.

(Before the group can reach the doors leading into the arena, Jasmine Ortiz comes walking up, one of the black suited guys blocks her passage)

Jasmine: Mister Tyrell, can I get a word about your feelings for Ryo's match against Ian Dickenson tonight?

(Tyrell motions for the security man to move aside as he steps up with a smile on his face as he removes his sunglasses)

Tyrell: Miss Ortiz, the only thing that I can say on the matter is that tonight not only is Ryo going to be staking his claim to the so called "Horrorcore Champion", but also the Dominion is going to let their intentions be known. And that's all I'm going to say on the matter, good day.





(Tyrell steps back and motions for the security to open the door the arena as the group is ushered inside without any further look in Jasmine's direction as the feed switches to a panoramic view of the Save-On-More arena before cutting to the inside and showing us the inside as the new theme for Defiant begins to play as we see the hundreds of fans in attendance for Pro Wrestling Nova's Defiant television before it cuts over to the broadcast team at their station)

Gates: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to this exciting edition of Defiant as we continue the march of Weirdmegeddon on our way to our next pay per view and the eventual war to come at chapter fifteen between the Queen B herself, Bianca Davis, against the infamous Blackheart, Wil Pierce for Wil’s Pro Wrestling Nova International Junior Heavyweight championship!

Escobar: Dios Mio!! That will be a true test of Bianca’s talents when she steps into the ring with one of the toughest wrestlers ever to come out of the training dojos of Japan, folks!

Kennedy: Not only that but tonight we have some incredible matches here as well like a furious rematch from a previous chapter as Megane Diavola takes on Miho Li, a massive first encounter as two indy legends face off as Havoc takes on Hellfighter, and plus in our main event, the fallout from the Omega Wrestling Alliance’s Clash of the Titans spreads a radiation storm even here to the great Commonwealth that is Pro Wrestling Nova as Ian Dickenson takes on Ryo Sakazaki. But the question becomes will Ian’s tag team partner and wife Ebony Arceri be able help her husband should the Dominion decide to get involved on behalf of their junior member, Ryo Sakazaki?

Gates: That is a very good question, just as what did Tyrell mean by was everything ready?

Escobar: I honestly don’t know, Ben. But I guess we’ll find out sooner or later here tonight won’t we?

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you your opening match for the evening and it is a SINGLES MATCH that is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!



(The arena goes black, as a music box is heard playing as the screen begins to flicker. A pair of heels are heard clicking along the ground, as the screen turns on and a music box is shown on the screen. The music box keeps playing as a woman approaches it, looking down at it tilting her head to the left, then to the right. She immediately grabs the lid and slams it, as it fades back into the arena, and a woman shouts over the PA System)

<Voice>
“Shatter Me!”

(Several Red spotlights come on after the fact, as the woman from the video is standing at the top of the ramp, with her mask on still tilting her head to the left slightly. “Look What you Made Me do” begins, playing as she looked at her opponent before straightening her head beginning to walk down the ramp. She stops at the bottom, looking into the ring ignoring the fans)

Dekker: Entering the arena right now...from London Ontario Canada...weighing in at 120 Pounds...Kamila Rose!!

(She removes her mask throwing it on the ground, as she goes over to the stairs climbing up them sliding into the ring through the second rope. She takes off her jacket, then throws it over the side, going back into her corner continuing to watch her opponent, before the bell rings. She smiled softly, as she prepared herself for the bell to ring)

Gates: Needless to say that Miss Rose has had an interesting journey through her time here in Pro Wrestling Nova, ladies and gentlemen, and here tonight she takes one of the toughest opponents that she has ever faced to date!

Kennedy: That is underselling who her opponent is there, Benjy!!

Dekker: And now introducing her opponent!!



(“Chemical X” by ContRoVersy starts to blast around the arena. A curtain of pink and blue fog fill the entranceway and Sweet Roxy emerges)

Dekker: And introducing straight from the City of Sin itself, Las Vegas Nevada and weighing in tonight at at a lethally lithe one hundred and thirty seven pounds...this is the Blackest Rose of them all as she is the “Slaytime Princess, SWEEEEEEET ROXY!!!

(She walks down the ramp flipping her pink hair as she blows a kiss to the audience before rolling under the bottom rope. She poses with her hand under her chin while still on her stomach and smirks for the crowd. She jumps up and shows off her in-ring gear before her music fades and the ref checks both women before she calls for the bell)

*DING DING*

(Kamila starts to slowly move towards the more experienced striker in Roxy who is leaning back in her corner with a rather sinister and sly smile on her face before she pushes out of the corner and Kamila attempts to get a quick kick in but Roxy quickly snatches Kamila’s leg then shakes her head at the other woman before hitting a very quick and vicious dragon screw leg whip on Kamila that drives her hard to the mat before Roxy is right back up and mounts her before she starts peppering Kamila with forearm shot after forearm shot before the ref finally manages to get the former LAW champion off of Kamila who then quickly rolls to the outside of the ring to create some distance between her and Roxy)
Escobar: Is that really a wise decision for Kamila to head out of the ring when you have a predator like Roxy Vendetta on the prowl?

Kennedy: People tend to underestimate Sweet Roxy because of her past in both Lethal Angels of Wrestling and the Omega Wrestling Alliance, but she’s slowly but steadily becoming her own woman as she has been tagging with her brother...half brother...something...in Ares Vendetta.

Gates: That may be true, but one can only wonder as to what will happen next in this match.

(Roxy finally manages to get to the outside and moves to go after Kamila but this time she’s ready for her and catches Roxy with a solid and stiff snap kick to her midsection that drives all of the air out of Roxy’s body before she grabs Roxy and hits an exploder suplex onto the other blonde, driving her back hard into the ring steps before she casually then starts to do a little golf clap for herself as the ref moves to the outside to check on Roxy who landed kind of oddly due to that suplex)

Kennedy: Good god! I hope that Roxy is okay, I mean seriously that landing just looked fucked!

Gates: Er...quite the way to put it actually there.

(Kamila then casually pushes past the ref and forces Roxy back to her feet before she then tosses Roxy into the ring and then follows her along with the ref, Kamila’s face then breaks out into a beatific smile as she realizes that she can quite honestly get an easy victory as she hauls up Roxy in a scoop lift that catches the ref flush in the head, knocking her to the outside of the ring before Kamila finishes off Roxy with an inverted DDT before going for the pin)

Escobar: It looks like Roxy is still slightly stunned after that suplex on the outside as Kamila has her in a rather lazy pin, but there is no one to really count as the ref was knocked to the outside of the ring.

Kennedy: That is true...but what the?!

(The reason for Kennedy’s sudden outburst is shown when Kamila is getting up off of Roxy to see why the ref hasn’t counted her pin, a masked figure quickly hops over the guardrails at ringside before entering the ring and catching Kamila with a kidney punch that drives the "Cub" to her knees before the masked figure quickly mounts and starts to lay hard into Kamila with several stiff blows before she quickly gets up and draws her pinky across Kamila's throat in a "throat slitting" gesture before hitting a very quick Swinging Reverse STO that drives Kamila's head hard into the mat!!)

Gates: Who the hell is this person and why the hell is she attacking Kamila Rose?!

Kennedy: I don't know, but I'm enjoying every moment of it!!

(The masked figure then quickly drags Kamila's body to the middle of the ring before picking up Roxy's stirring form and placing her ontop of Kamila before leaving the ring as the ref slowly makes her own way into the ring and starts the count)

1....2.....3

*DING DING*

Dekker: The winner of the match, SSWWEEEETTTT ROXY!!!

("Chemical X" begins to play once more as the ref raises a confused Roxy's arm up in victory as she looks down at Kamila's out cold form before she looks around at ringside and sees the masked figure who then casually hops back over the guardrail as Roxy continues to wonder what the hell just happened)

(Scene cuts backstage, right outside the entryway, where we find the Pro Wrestling Nova HorrorCore Champion, Ian Dickinson, somewhat impatiently awaiting his cue to enter the arena. His title belt resting on his right shoulder, he paces slightly. While he’s distracted, he is approached by backstage interviewer Zanna Mitchell)

Zanna: Excuse me, Ian, could I get a word with you?

Ian turns to face her.

Ian: Make it quick…

Zanna: In tonight’s main event, you’ll be taking on the man that eliminated you from OWA's recent Clash of the Titans event, Ryo Sakazaki. What are your thoughts on what transpired at the Clash?

Ian: Yeah…. The Clash. Not my finest outing, to say the least. But I want to make something perfectly clear, Zanna. There’s no hard feelings towards Ryo. Given the nature of the match, he did what anyone would do.

(Ian turns to face the camera directly)

Ian: But tonight is a different story. Tonight, we’re on MY turf, and we won’t have the added distraction of a ring full of other people. Sakazawa, your reputation is widely known throughout this business. You take no quarter, and none will be offered. This will be exactly what I’m best at: a knockdown, drag-out fight.

Tonight’s result will be DRASTICALLY different….

(Ian turns away and leaves Zanna standing there as the scene cuts back to ringside)

(As the camera cuts back from the backstage area, Miss Cortez is back in the ring and looks ready for more)

Cortez: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following lucha is scheduled for one fall and it is a SINGLES MATCH!!! Introducing wrestler number one!!



(The lights go out in the arena as the crowd waits in anticipation for the arrival of the Nightmare King. A red spotlight appears near the curtains as smoke engulfs the entire stage. “Delusions of Saviour” by Slayer hits the PA System as men and women donning face paint crawl out of the smoke and surround the stage for the arrival of ‘their savior’)

Cortez: Introducing from Parts Unknown, he weighs in tonight at an impressively frightening two hundred and ten pounds!!

(The music slowly shifts downwards into “Repentless” by Slayer with red strobe lights, as Jada Blaire steps out of the smoke with a menacing grin followed by the stone faced Havoc with a barbed wire baseball bat in hand)

Cortez: He is escorted to the ring by his herald Jada Blaire in that he is the "Harbinger of Reality", the one and only true "Nightmare King" of professional wrestling...this is HHAAVVVOOOCCCC!!!!

(All the men and women around the stage place a hand on Havoc as he slowly makes his way down the ramp accompanied by Jada Blaire, and the red strobe lights lighting their path. He places the bat at ringside before climbing up to the top turnbuckle and embraces the negative crowd reaction with a smirk on his face)

Escobar: Now this is a very, very *scary* man.

Gates: That is most definitely one way to describe a man of the pure talent and raw charisma that is Havoc, Justino. This is a man who took Reno Dumont to his utmost limits during the early days of Wrestleworld as well as holding the World Wrestling Headquarters World heavyweight championship for most of a year without any problem.

Kennedy: And in my own personal opinion still *IS* the world champion there because you just don't get any higher than this match right here, the Nightmare King himself!

Escobar: That is true, but I think Havoc's opponent for the night might just have something to say about that though.

<Every time I turn my back I get the feeling that>
<I'm 'bout to take a shot to the skully with a bat>

Cortez: And his opponent, he hails from Kansas City Missouri and weighs in tonight at an impressive three hundred pounds!!

(As "Yours" by Tobymac continues to play throughout the arena, the towering form of Patrick M. Shutt himself, the Hellfighter, slowly strolls out onto the entrance way as the Novatron gives us an impressive run down of his matches from over the two decades of his career as he simply walked down the asile, his eyes never leaving Havoc who just stood there and waited for his chance to take on the famed hero of the old Extreme Wrestling Incorporated)

Cortez: This is the "Whitelighter" of professional wrestling, the Big Damn Hero of Pro Wrestling Nova...this is THE HELLFIGHTER!!

(Hellfighter simply steps over the top rope and then moves to his corner, never breaking eye contact with Hellfighter nor Havoc with him as the ref checks both men over before calling for the bell)

*DING DING*

(Havoc slowly steps out of his corner as does Hellfighter with both men meeting in the middle of the ring with Havoc giving up a solid foot and hundred pounds to the more experienced Hellfighter but that doesn't seem to matter as Havoc simply smiles and then hits a Pele kick that drives the taller man back a moment but Havoc doesn’t let up as he starts to unleash a barrage of kicks and sticks at Hellfighter’s legs and chest that slowly start to wear the bigger man down but once he’s down on one knee, Hellfighter proves just how quick he is even at his age by starting to lash out with several wickedly fast knife-edged chops that catches Havoc off guard one rapid fire shot after another until Hellfighter slowly starts getting back up but Havoc quickly hits a superkick to leg that Hellfighter is using to force himself back up before the smaller man quickly hits the ropes and then rebounds off of them into a slingblade that quickly takes the bigger man down and into a pin)

1…..2….NO!!

Escobar: And this match was almost over rather quickly as the ref shows us that it was almost a three as Havoc looks at Hellfighter with slight amusement on his face as he was practically hurled off of the bigger man who is now using the ring ropes to get to his feet!

Kennedy: Don’t get me wrong as I know Hellfighter’s history in this industry, but let’s just face facts here that Havoc is a lot younger than Mister Shutt, and a lot less injured as well.

Gates: It is true that Hellfighter has a number of injuries from his past against the likes of Kevin Powers, Gemini, and so many others across a literal dead sea of promotions that he still keeps rising like some kind of mythic figure from wrestler’s dark past!

Kennedy: That might be true but he’s got a real devil of a fighter in front of him that is Havoc and the “Nightmare King” rules across his own wicked wasteland of current promotions, Benji-boy, so don’t you be trying to sell the King down the river of pain so quickly!!

Escobar:...wow, talk about playing things up, eh folks?

(Havoc and Hellfighter continue to exchange blows until finally Havoc lands a wicked roundhouse kick that knocks Hellfighter back at which point Havoc tries to go for a Tiger suplex but the wicked amount of strain on the younger man's face is clearly evident even through the face paint so Havoc quickly adjusts his grip and tries to go for one of his signature Exploderplexs and eventually he hits it, driving the larger man hard into the mat at which point he quickly goes for another pin)

1....2....NO!!!

(Once more, Hellfighter manages to power out of the move and Havoc rolls to the outside to talk with Jada for a moment, trying to figure out what to do as Hellfighter stirs and gets up to his feet, taking a look to the outside of the ring and getting a rather wicked grin on his face as he charges the far ropes while Havoc is distracted and bounces off of them before in a very startling moment, dives through the ropes with a spear that catches Havoc flat footed and drives him hard into the barricades at ringside!!)

Gates/Escobar/Kennedy: ......!! <insert Metal Gear Solid "alert" noise here folks>

Crowds: HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT!!!

Escobar: DIVINE POOP AT THAT!!!

(Jada has a look of utter and complete shock on her face as she tries to figure out how *she* was taken out by the same move as Hellfighter gets back up to his feet, looking somewhat more focused than his opponent, who he grabs by the back of his neck and trunks before hurling him back into the ring and then rolls back into the ring as well as Havoc tries to get back up to his feet and goes for another roundhouse kick like before but only Hellfighter catches him while shaking his head before hoisting him up into an exploder suplex and driving him down hard to the mat at which point HF doesn't let go but instead transitions the two of them back up to a standing position before HF drives Havoc back up and then down with a snap suplex that he then rolls the two of them back up and into a vertical suplex that he then quickly transitions and cycles through into a fisherman than he finishes it out finally with a very wicked looking tossing German suplex that causes Havoc to land in a heap in a turnbuckle across the ring)

Escobar: And that was one Suplex World Tour that I don't think that Havoc will be forgetting anytime soon, folks!!

Kennedy:....

Gates: I do believe that your broadcast colleague is flabbergasted, Justin.

Escobar: I would be too if I went through that kind of painful situation, Ben!

(Hellfighter then calmly walks over and sets up Havoc for what appears to be a pumphandle slam from the set up and then he lifts him up but Havoc has the understanding of where he is to quickly squirm out of the move and then land hard back onto the mat flat on his feet but then an ill timed moment as both men slam their elbows by accident hard into the jaw of referee David Cash who then quickly calls for the bell and then says something quickly to Cortez who has a look of total shock on her face)

Cortez: Ladies and Gentlemen, due to the actions of both wrestlers, the referee David Cash has declared this match a NO CONTEST and neither man wins this match!!

(Both wrestlers look at David who simply rolls out of the ring with a pissed off look on his face as he stalks up the entrance way)



(Suddenly the ref’s departure is slowed as the commissioner of Defiant, Natasha Booth, storms down the entrance ramp and gets right into David Cash’s face and starts to demand an answer about why that happened and Cash starts to get right into her face about it and arguing back when other members of the PWN front office and refs start to come out and try to break things up as the screen fades to commercial)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is a SINGLES MATCH!!!



("Bad to the bone" plays, the arena darkens. Orange strobe lights flash throughout the arena as the curtain parts and out walks Josh Woodrum wearing his ring gear, with a black and orange "Simple Impressive" T-shirt on)

Dekker: Introducing first from Lexington Kentucky, he is making his Pro Wrestling Nova debut!! Weighing in tonight at two hundred and sixty five pounds!!

(Woodrum walks to the middle of the ramp, stops and surveys the crowd and then holds up both arms in the "rock on" hand sign as pyros explode behind him. He saunters to the apron, jumps up and cockily hops over the ropes and lands in the ring)

Dekker: This is the "Meaning of Manliness", the "Prince of Perversion" and a self professed "Deity of Destruction"...this is "Mister Impressive", JOSH WOODRRRUUUMMMM!!!

(He walks to the center of the ring and with great flourish rips off his shirt. He tosses the remains into the crowd and cups his hand to his ear, hitting all four sides of the ring before striking a double bicep pose in the center of the ring. Woodrum climbs the nearest turnbuckle, he flashes another "rock on" hand sign and steps down as his music fades)

Dekker: And introducing his opponent!!



(Cue up: Ape Fight's "Big Jerk")

Dekker: He hails from Corvallis Oregon and weighs in tonight at two hundred and thirty seven pounds!!

(As the song dives hard and fast into the first bridge, the crowds go ape-pun intended-for the man who strides out of the entrance way and makes his way slowly down to the ringside area as Hans Olsen wears his signature hoodie to the ring)

Dekker: He is the "Olympic Gold Medalist", the "Walking Weapon of Mass Suplex Destruction"...he *IS* GROUND F'N ZERO...HANSSSSS OLSEN!!!

(Hans gets to the ring and hops up onto the ring apron and then enters the ring before tossing the hood of his hoodie back and gets right into the face of Josh Woodrum but before anything can be said or done, the lights in the arena suddenly fade out)

Kennedy: What the hell is going on here?!

Gates: I don't know, but it's usually not any good.

(When the lights in the arena come back on, all four corners have a couple of people dressed in tactical gear complete with black balaclavas that cover their face and both Hans and Josh look at each other, the other thinking that they had arranged this, until suddenly all of the masked figures suddenly surge into the ring and start attacking both men who struggle at first but then slowly and surely are able to fight back the tide and start tossing their attackers aside and then start to work together when suddenly another person in tactical gear moves in from the outside and then nails Josh with a solid *WHAM* with a fist ladened with a steel chain which he then repeats the same motion to Hans, knocking both men to the mat at which point the various goons quickly start to swarm the two fallen men)

Gates: Ladies and Gentlemen, I have no idea who is doing these attacks here tonight but it seems that despite their best efforts, both Hans Olsen and Josh Woodrum have been overpowered by these thugs!!

Escobar: Dios Mio!!

Kennedy: Wait a moment, that big one with the chain...he looks familiar somehow...

(The tallest of the masked men simply shakes his head before motioning for the goons to follow him as they leave the ring to a massive hail of boos as the camera cuts to commercial)

(We come back from the last segment and find Isobel Cortez standing in the ring)

Cortez: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following lucha is scheduled for one fall and it is a SINGLES MATCH as well as a REMATCH!!



(The fans let up a cheer as the lights go completely out, only to be replaced with red and purple pulsating strobe lights along the stage. Music queue up "You Should See Me In A Crown" by Billie Eilish. A series of light blue laser ringed spotlight dangles directly over a certain spot in the center of the stage as smoke and fog begins to roll into the arena. At the moment when a trapdoor opens and raises "The Invincible" Miho Li from the bottom onto the top of the stage in the center of the ringed spotlight, an oversized inflatable wacky cartoon spider raises up from right behind her)

Cortez: Introducing first, she weighs in tonight at one hundred and twenty pounds and hails from Riverside California!!

(We see Miho Li posing on her knee with her hood over her head with her manager, The HellFighter posing stoically behind her. She leaps up onto her feet and behinds moving and dancing in sync with the beat of the music, and the rampway LEDs illuminating each and every step she takes toward the ring greeting as many outstretched hands from fans toward the ring. Miho Li runs along the ringside area and then runs and slides up on her knee gliding across the ring apron, Miho then leaps up onto her feet, and springboard flips off of the ropes doing a one-eighty reverse cartwheel flip and landing on her feet in the center of the ring. Miho then runs to each of the four turnbuckles soaking in the cheers from the crowd)

Cortez: This is the "Girl on Fire", The "Gift" that is the "Invincible"...MIHOOOO LIIII!!!!

(On the final turnbuckle, she hops off of the turnbuckle, removes her sunglasses and hooded sleeveless coat, and handing them to The HellFighter, then falls backwards into the turnbuckle calm and focused while The HellFighter goes over last minute strategy into her ear while she waits for match to officially begin. "You Should See Me In a Crown" slowly fades out)

Kennedy: And I've got nothing for this walking commercial for why you shouldn't snort Skittles Candy...

Escobar: Oh come on now, Miho Li is a Pro Wrestling Nova original with tremendous loads of talent and she is one of the true fan favorites here!

Kennedy: And she's apparently really high on the sugar though...



(Suddenly Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry" begins to play as the crowds begin to boo in earnest as the entrance video appears on the Novatron of Miho's opponent's past matches intermixed with clips from the official music video of her theme)

Cortez: And introducing her opponent, she weighs in tonight a ready, rough, and rowdy one hundred and twenty three pounds from Raleigh North Carolina!!

(Megane Diavola then steps out onto the entrance way, looking more than ready for a fight as she stalks down towards the ring and not wasting any time whatsoever)

Cortez: She is the "Lustful Judas" herself, MEGANE DIAVOLA!!!

(Right as Cortez finishes saying Diavola's last name, the woman in question is already in the ring and charging at Miho, knocking her down to the mat with a slingshot spear as the ref quickly calls for the bell)

*DING DING*

(Megane quickly mounts the smaller Miho and starts to hit her hard with a flurry of forearm and elbow shots before quickly transitioning herself into an inverted arm-trap seated cloverleaf, causing Miho to cry out in agony as her thin chest is forced to support all of her opponent's weight as she tries to hyper-extended both of Miho's arms!!)

Kennedy: Now this is what I'm talking about, folks!! A real lethal lady unlike those that we've seen earlier in the night!!

Gates:...did you really just say that Sweet Roxy and Kamila Rose aren't real women??

Kennedy: No...what the hell man?!

Escobar: But didn't you just say...

Kennedy: I know what I said, don't go putting words in the wrong ears gentlemen!!

(Miho finally manages to get a leg close enough to the ropes that she hooks it and the ref forces Megane to break the hold at which point she is quick to her feet and then hauls Miho up to her feet before starting to lay into her with very stiff looking boxing jabs that keeps Miho trapped against the ring ropes until the ref forces her away long enough for Miho to catch her breath at which point Megane looks at Miho with a sneer as she moves in, only for the smaller woman to side step out of the way and she grabs the back of Megane's head, her slim fingers getting a solid handhold of her hair and yanks it slightly as something seems to...well, "snap"...in Miho's expression and she starts to hit several stiff looking forearm shots of her own right into the face of Megane until she shoves Megane away from her before she lets out a loud scream of fury that Megane meets with a throat chop that drives Miho back long enough for her opponent to move a short way away from her)

Gates: Some very impressive physical action by both women here tonight!

Escobar: That’s one way of putting it, Ben. I think right now however we’re seeing a much more aggressive side of Miho because she’s tired of being seen as something of a flyweight here in the world of professional wrestling.

Kennedy: A...what now?

Escobar: A “Flyweight”, it’s a weight class for women over in UFC and other MMA promotions. It’s the weight class for women between one hundred and fifteen to one hundred and twenty five pounds of weight. Also with featherweight being the heaviest at one thirty five to one forty five and straweight being the lightest with one fifteen being the maximum weight there.

Kennedy: Wow...I honestly didn’t know that.

Escobar: Yeah, people just generally believe I’m a goof and I know it.

(Meanwhile back in the ring, Megane has one again moved in and quickly caught Miho with a superkick to Miho's mid-section that doubles her over before Megane attempts to follow it up with a step-up knee strike but Miho instead catches her in mid-motion with a couple of Shotei palm strikes that knocks Megane back before she starts to unload with snap kicks when suddenly the lights in the arena cut out again aburptly)

Gates: Not this again!

(Suddenly when the lights in the arena come back up both Miho and Megane are looking around at the thugs in tactical who have encircled the ring)

Escobar: Who the hell are these guys?!

(The goons quickly charge the ring but Megane quickly knocks two of them down and is able to get out of the ring, leaving Miho alone to handle them which she did for a few moments, lashing out like an octopus playing the drums with kicks and forearm shots as quickly as she could turn around, but suddenly she was caught square across the jaw with a stiff forearm shot that knocked her to her knees on the mat while Megane simply headed up the entrance ramp with a wicked grin on her face)

Kennedy: You know, I appreciate a good heel as much as next guy, but this is just wonk!



(Just before the goons can do anything a group of people hit the ring at a dead run including both Alex Slayer and David Belmont along with Josh Woodrun and Hans Olsen along with Hellfighter as they go at the men who were trying to take out Miho who took the distraction as a chance to get back up to her own feet but the big man with the chain from earlier grabs her by the throat during the melee in the ring and he attempts to chokeslam her out of the ring, a man quickly hops the railing and catches Miho before she crashes to the ground and gives her a smile then a nod before tossing her back up onto the ring apron which he then follows and then the two quickly hit a springboard spear that takes down "Mister Chain" and that move drives him to the outside of the ring as the Shinigami Foundation and company clean house as security shows up and tries to restore order as the screen goes to commercial)

(The feed opens and we see Natasha Booth, the commissioner of Pro Wrestling Nova’s Defiant brand, in her office backstage with a slightly serious look on her face as her bright bluish-green eyes twinkle with a little bit of mayhem in them)



Booth: Hello to the faithful of Pro Wrestling Nova. Since our president, Chris Slayton, is currently out extending our business dealings with our partner promotions such as Wrestleworld, it is up to me to make the following announcements.

First off pertaining to the ending of the match between Havoc and Hellfighter, I have discussed things with President Slayton via telephone and we have come to the agreement that the match is going to be declared a no contest, however neither man will be getting a loss marked in their match history due to the actions of referee David Cash.

To that effect however, President Slayton and I have both agreed that there will be a rematch between the two men at some point in the very near future and we will be keeping you, the Faithful, updated on that as we start making plans for it.

Now I have the distinct honor of announcing our champion, Stephanie Matsuda.

(The screen shifts to a shot of Matsuda holding the PWN Unified World’s Heavyweight championship)


Booth: will be defending her championship against the “Ace Killer” herself, Natalie Cage…

(The screen shifts to a shot of Natalie Cage)


Booth: at the Omega Wrestling Alliance’s forthcoming Final Destination pay per view...with the winner of that match squaring off against Ian Dickenson at Wrestlevania for the Unified championship!!

(The screen cuts again to a shot of Ian Dickenson looking confident and ready before the screen then cuts back to Booth who is smiling just a little bit)


Booth: Furthermore, I myself will be on hand at Final Destination along with an enforcer of my choosing to ensure that nothing goes out of hand during such an important event for either of our companies. Now, let’s go to our main event of the evening and enjoy us some serious war shall we?

(The screen then cuts back to ringside and Thomas Dekker in the middle of the ring)



Dekker: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!

(The lights in the arena fade to a low purple as a sinister but haunting sounding chord starts to reverberate throughout the Save-On-More arena before a drum solo explodes before a man very solemnly starts to sing)

Davey Havok:
I got two letters from you
Last words of the runaway
Your love was written so true
And now I can't speak you name

(As AFI's "I hope you suffer" continues to play throughout the arena, Jason Tyrell walks onto the entrance stage followed a moment later by a man wearing a full face mask in the form of a sinisterly grinning Japanese demon at which point Tyrell motions for the man to follow him to the ring which he does)

Dekker: Introducing first his opponent, being escorted to the ring by the "Emissary of Evil" himself, Jason Tyrell, and hailing from Sleepy Hollow New York. He weighs in tonight at an impressive two hundred and thirty six pounds of raw steel and sex appeal!!

Davey Havok:
I faced destruction and you just killed me and walked away
I gave my heart to the cruel
Now it will not beat again...

(As the two men make their way down to the ring, several fans reach out and attempt to get the usual high five from the more friendly member of the Sleepy Hollow crew, but there seems to be something off as the man in the demon mask simply ignores what's going on around him as they go and once they reach the ring, Tyrell enters first and the masked man second)

Dekker: He is a recognized and respected member of the Frontline, but tonight he represents the DOMINION!! He is the "Grinning Demon" that is RYO SAAAKKKAAAAZAKI!!!

(Tyrell motions for the masked man to remove his mask which he does slowly, revealing a decidedly furious looking Ryo Sakazaki. The young Japanese-American slowly hands his mask over to his manager who then slids out of the ring as his theme quickly dips into the hard opening as the lights go back to normal)

Dekker: And introducing his opponent!!



Halford:
You may not like the future
And we're not here to preach to you
We'll take you to the killing floor

You think you want to know me
You think you want to own me
But I have nothing you can buy!!

(Suddenly exploding out of the back with a look of abject fury on his face is none other than the PWN Horrorcore champion who looks more than ready to fight)

Dekker: He hails from Hawthorne California and weighs in tonight at two hundred and fifty pounds...he is the current reigning and defending Pro Wrestling Nova Horrorcore Openweight champion!!

(Ian quickly slides into the ring and before Dekker can do anymore of his introduction, he and Ryo suddenly close the distance and both men simply start laying into each other with a truly fearsome fury as they start to exchange blows left and right like there is no tomorrow!!)

*DING DING*!!

Kennedy: HOLY SHITBALLS BATMAN!!

Gates: Erm...that's one way of putting things. But yes it seems that both Ian and Ryo are both looking to solve this minor issue between the two of them here tonight.

Escobar: "Minor Issue"? This isn't just some minor issue, Ben. Ian was eliminated without hesistation by Ryo at Clash of the Titans before our Horrorcore champion could even show his worth to the fans of the Omega Wrestling Alliance and Ryo has been on such a downward spiral that he's slowly started becoming more and more reliant on the words of a guy like freaking Jason Tyrell!!

Kennedy: And speaking of the leader of the Dominion, he is enjoying this bit of warfare between these two wrestlers, isn't he?!

(In the ring, Ian grabs ahold of Ryo's right arm and then practically throws him into the far ropes and moves into position to hit a pop up powerbomb, but instead right as he tosses Ryo up in the air for the move, instead Ryo's quick reflexes allows himto hit one of his BDE's (Best Dropkicks EVER!!) onto Ian which drives him back at which point Ryo quickly scrambles to his feet and hits a Thesz Press onto his opponent, quickly locking in a triangle choke which he then follows up with several very stiff looking elbow strikes to Ian's head)

Kennedy: And there goes the Hawthorne Horror straight on down to the Saint's Row!!

Escobar: That wicked triangle choke has been locked in tightly by Ryo, but I wouldn't count Ian out quite yet!

(As Ryo rains down elbow strike after elbow strike onto him, Ian quickly lashes out and grabs the ring ropes, using them to pull himself and Ryo up with until he's in a standing position and Ian lets out an almighty roar of fury as he charges across the ring and manages to hit a running turnbuckle powerbomb of sorts, driving Ryo had into the top turnbuckle of the far corner which causes him to break the hold just long enough for Ian to haul him up and hit one lifting DDT onto Ryo after another for a total of three before he hits a powerbomb toss on Ryo, sending his back hard into the turnbuckles yet again before following it up with a charging back elbow before rolling a falling forward Ryo up into a pin)

1...NO!!

(Ryo kicks out before two and then quickly transitions that into a rather wicked looking backslide pin with a bridge that the ref quickly moves in for the count)

1....2....NO!!!

(Ian is able to power out of the pin at the last moment and attempts to go for a La magistral pin but then he flips the two of them over into a bridging Jackknife hold as the ref goes to count again)

1....2...NO!!!

(Once more Ryo is able to break the pin but Ian is able to haul Ryo up and then powers him back down with a rather wicked looking Lungblower before he drags the younger man over to the nearest turnbuckles and then starts to climb with him upwards but halfway up, Ryo starts to slam his right fist hard into Ian's right ribs, eventually causing Ian to let go of Ryo and Ryo jumps down to the mat and quickly moves to stand under Ian and quickly slams him to the mat in an Iconoclasm before he transitions into a double pumphandle arm wringer that he then moves into an Inverted Jackknife pin as the ref once more drops down to start the count)

1....2.....FUCK NO!!!

(Ian breaks the hold once more right before the ref's hand hits the mat and Ryo breaks the hold and slams both of his fists hard onto the mat as Ian starts to gather his wits)

Gates: Now that was one very incredible sequence of moves and holds by both of these very talented wrestlers which showcases why Pro Wrestling Nova is one of the hottest indy promotions around.

Kennedy:...ehhh, I wouldn't got that far but you've got a solid point about having some of the hottest young talent around.

(Ian slowly starts to get to his feet when suddenly Ryo quickly moves over and starts to stomp on Ian while circling him, driving the bigger man hard into the mat with each stomp, before finally Ryo quickly bends Ian's right arm up and then brutally stomps on the bent arm, causing Ian to flop around in pain for a moment before Ryo quickly locks in an inverted triangle kimura lock and cinches the move in tightly in the middle of the ring, Ian's eyes slowly start to bug out of his head as he realizes his situation and then he tries to move himself only to find that with Ryo's positioning-the smaller man has the ruling positioning of the hold as Ryo cinches it in ever further but slowly and surely Ian is able to power out of it and he forces himself into a slight standing position but with the damage done to his arm, he's unable to do much more but the main thing that he's able to do is hit a modifed version of the Throwing Crucifix Powerbomb that he calls the "Hellion" on Ryo which causes the hold to be broken, even though it does cause Ian's neck to be jerked rather brutally by the action)

Escobar: And both of these men are continuing to showcase why they are two of the top superstars in this promotion, ladies and gentlemen.

Kennedy: That might be so, Justin, but I see trouble ahead.

(While Ian is busy in the ring, Alex Pierce has slowly made his way unnoticed to the ring followed by the large thuggish man in tactical gear from the Hans/Woodrum match from earlier and the two men get into position at which point Tyrell quickly jumps on the ring apron that in turn catches the ref's attention and he goes to deal with it)

Gates: What the hell is going on here?!

(Ian hauls Ryo up to his feet and sets him up for what looks to be a chokebomb when suddenly the masked man suddenly comes out of nowhere with a Discus European Uppercut that drives Ian backwards and makes him drop Ryo at the same time)

Kennedy: I KNOW THAT MOVE!!!

Escobar: Who the hell is this masked guy and what is he doing?!

Kennedy: I know that move!! I can't believe that he's here of all places!!

(Ian is knocked back into Alex who then catches Ian with a spinning backfist that knocks him down to the mat but the motion is what senior PWN official Kevin Harrison sees and he quickly calls for the bell)

Dekker: Ladies and Gentlemen, as result of a disqulification. The winner of your match is...

(But before Dekker can even finish what he's saying Tyrell simply shoves Dekker to the match and then motions for Alex and his cohot to really start putting the boots to Ian when suddenly the crowds at ringside explode as Ebony charges the ring, only she's almost met with a stiff right fist from Alex who in turn hits a knee strike combo to Alex's midsection but she is quickly knocked to the ground by a European uppercut to the back of her head by the masked man at which point the crowds are booing heavily but they quickly shift in tone as both Alex Slayer and David Belmont-the Shinigami Foundation-hit the ring at a dead run along with Joshua Woodrun and all three men quickly to help Ian and Ebony in the ring with Joshua going after the masked man who ruined his debut earlier in the show while the Foundation quickly moves to take on Alex and Ryo)

Gates: And it looks like our main event has basically disenteragated into a pier four brawl here, ladies and gentlemen, as the apparent charges of Jason Tyrell are being held back by the Shinigami Foundation and Joshua Woodrun while Onslaught roll to the outside and try to collect themselves!

Escobar: I'm still curious as to who that masked guy is that's working with the Dominion!!

Kennedy: Well that discus European uppercut could only mean one man that I know of and he's also a member of the Dominion!!

(In the ring Woodrun has got the masked man in a solid headlock but the masked man manages to get out of the hold by sacrificing his mask to reveal his face!)

Kennedy: I FUCKING KNEW IT!!

Gates: Ladies and Gentlemen, the masked man from earlier in the night is none other than Oath Pro Wrestling's own Gabriel Marik!!

(Gabriel Marik has a truly sinister smile on his face as he hits a brutal belly-to-belly suplex onto Woodrun when suddenly Marik is caught flat footed when a double superkick from none other than Ian and Ebony drives the bigger man backwards hard)

<Do you call my name here>

(Suddenly the fans are on their feet as the opening chords of "Do you call my name" by Ra starts to play throughout the arena as the tiger masked Maverick Spyke comes charging down to the ring at a dead run)

Kennedy: And what is this fresh shit??

Escobar: It is the "Golden Tiger of Pro Wrestling Nova" himself, Maverick Spyke. But he hasn't been on TV since his encounter with the other guy that called himself Maverick Spyke!

Gates: It doesn't matter, guys. What matters is that he's here to help his fellow PWN roster members against these Dominion creeps!!

(The ring is quickly divided with Onslaught, Shinigami Foundation, Jason Woodrun, and Maverick Spyke on one side and Ryo, Alex, and Gabriel on the other with Spyke standing dead center and motioning to both Alex Slayer and Ian Hawthorne that he wanted the next shot at the Dominion...and then right as Ian turns to regard the Dominion members, Spyke suddenly explodes by dropping him with a Spike Jumping Cutter before turning around and hitting a Stunner on Slayer before he quickly scrambled out of the ring before the rest of the group simply flee the ring as well as the PWN wrestlers check on their people)

Kennedy: Again I ask what is this fresh shit?!

Gates: Did...Did Maverick Spyke just drop Ian Hawthorne with...Bitch Lasagna???

Escobar: I do believe so...but why??

(As Jason Tyrell moves to head up the ramp to meet up with the rest of the Dominion, which now included Maverick Spyke. Tyrell produced a mic out of his jacket pocket and gave a large smile to the cameras)

Tyrell: Even with Oath Pro Wrestling going quiet, my Dominion is as loud and vulgar as per normal operations! Now since this is a show entitled for the German word of enjoying the pain of others...

(Tyrell walks over to Ryo who is being slightly held up by Marik and places an almost fatherly hand upon the right shoulder of the younger Japanese man)

Tyrell: Now I know this isn't how you wanted your match with Ian to go, my young apprentace...but consider this as incentive to do better elsewhere and perhaps maybe then, I'll grant you the right to enjoy the kind of violence that you truly wish to behold.

But as to answer a different question...

(Tyrell then moves to stand next to Maverick Spyke who hasn't taken his eyes away from the ring this entire time as the camera cuts to the PWN wrestlers standing in the ring with looks ranging from disbelief to anger on their faces before it cuts back to the entrance ramp and the Dominion)

Tyrell: Perhaps...will the *REAL* Maverick Spyke please stand up!!

(Spyke simply reaches behind his mask and does something and then a moment later he pulls off the mask to reveal the face of the man beneath it, fixing his empty hollow gaze hard across the ring)



Gates: THAT'S KANADIA SHARPE!! What is a former Wrestleworld superstar doing here?!

Escobar: Forget that, what is Kanaida doing with the Dominion...or using Sweet Roxy's finisher?!

(The screen focuses on the newly revealed Kanadia Sharpe's face as the blonde haired man simply continues to focus his empty gaze across the ring at the wrestlers gathered there as the feed cuts to black)
